To me, she is the mouse, or the lilone. I never use her name. Course I am "hon" or "Dude" guy from way back so this is really no big change.

Usually he picks something he knows i will dislike ... it was poodle and has evolved to poo. It is all in the tone though so i don't mind too much but enough to keep him from thinking up a new one i would hate more lol.

Not exactly humourous........M gave me the nickname of tink years ago, because when I'm frustrated or fuming I look like tinkerbell being shaken in a jar with a wait 'til you let me out look on my face. agirl

I started calling her Kitten early on, because she was feline and liked to lick things. As I nurture the strength in her, more and more, she has become my Tiger. I am her Lady. We also call each other "Face," which confuses everyone.

HA HA HA.... Thanks for the song hejira. I do that with my students. They all have the same name, I swear! I have more than one pair of students who have exactly the same name and a couple pairs where the difference in names is one letter. (Yes, I mean first, middle, last names). I just call them all "darling." They think it's an American thing - we are less formal. I allow them to think that. I may even encourage it, but I'm not admitting anything! [:)] I have no nicknames. [:(]

people always seem to come up with nicknames for me..don't know why. I have a sister who is a year younger than me and my dad used to call me peanut butter. She was apple butter. Still makes me laugh to think of that.

We're big on pet names here. Fox is (so far) a pet name, though it'll be legal eventually. He calls me "Smee Fox", which he says means small though I've never heard anyone else say it. Also Foxface, which is funny because he calls the cat Pussface. I call him Greymuzzle, Old Wolf, Grandpa (he's three years younger), etc.

Quirky isn't really my thing, although one piece of serendipity did amuse me. With younger subs I know well, I tend to refer to them by Miss and their first name. It reinforces the Henry Higgins dynamic which I find tends to naturally arise with younger subs. One particular sub had a longer name which I truncated. For example, had her name been Angelica, I would call her Miss Angel. Not long after, she discovered that when flying, the airline truncates the first name of their passengers on their ticket. So every time she looks at her ticket, she finds "Miss Angel" and thinks of me. Much as my ego would like to claim credit, it's purely accidental. And has irritated her immensely when trying not to think of me.

Their names are... sandpaper(male), wicked (male), butchy (female), sally (male), thing one and thing two(they are genderless) and my most favorite of all pets is named monkey bubble(male) Most who know me call me Halo. The only two people that have ever tried to truely dominate me are both male and refuse to call me by anything but my given name.

My Goddess gave the slave name "minion worm" but just calls me "minion". She is "Goddess". W/we've never called either other anything else.

i've never had a nickname that has stuck. i've been called by my surname and had that abreviated which is fine. but a hate of mine is when people ask my name, i tell them and then they have the audacity to try and shorten it without asking. well no, i gave you my name as i like to be called, use it that way. i in turn never shorten someone's name unless it's given to me that way. needles

I was given the nick Mama Bear by my ex-husband (not an actual Dom, but one in spirit). I have been called a number of different things, but Mama Bear is the one that particularly stuck, and the one I actually like.
