Hey Ron! I forgot you are kinda in the biz.......at least if my memory isn't totally shot. I am not exactly up to speed on the law, not sure if it varies state by state. However, as far as I know, here in Iowa, if you purchase something that was stolen and it gets traced back to you, the least that happens is that you lose the merchandise you purchased. Not to mention the money. One would hope that the buyer isn't buying, knowing the merchandise was stolen, but if so, I assume it can get a bit uglier. Would the consequences be different for a business, like a pawn shop, versus an individual? Even if just by sheer volume giving the business a greater risk of running into the issue.
