I'd definitely call it an attempted act of high seas piracy.

No, it's an act of stowing away. They have to try and seize cotrol of the ship or steal something for it to be piracy.

Fuckin' Greenpeace... They do love a spectacle. I'd say send in some private security, armed with mace-filled paintball guns. The thing already has a place to land the helicopter. If they put up any resistance at all, it does become piracy, but mace the fuckers one way or another.
