Funeral Home Offers Drive-Thru Grieving

Fries, liquor and prescription medications have long been offered in drive-thru form, so it was only a matter of time until funeral homes followed suit. More »

Nothing beats drive thru weddings. Just because of all the people talking about the alleged sanctity of marriage. Yeah, there's nothing sacred about something you can get at a drive thru in Vegas.

You are talking to someone who does not go to wakes or funerals because I don't believe that death should be 'mourned'. I believe that the persons life should be celebrated in grand style...in other words...throw a party to celebrate the wonderful life.

Actually quite a few in my life time

However, your comment to mine, the first time...was that such a 'drive thru' would cheapen the wake. I simple disagreed with you.

Drive thru wake...then, go to a grand ole party and celebrate his/her passing...nothing is cheapened.

Heck, you can do that at the funeral home.

Well, at least Southern Baptists can.

Funny bout that. A drive through funeral ! Just when I was thinking when I get old I would open a self serve car wash. Do you have any idea how much money those things make ? And not to mention that you can cheat on taxes so bad (umm good) that you can have two yachts and qualify for food stamps.

Now is the time in the life of a CM thread that it can no longer be hijacked. Not that I will but I think it's time to come out of the shell here. To show the world who really is nucking futs.

This is nothing new, it has been happening for years, at least 11 because I went to one way back in the 90's.  I do not think it lessen anything, mourning is mourning.

At least when someones cell phone goes off, it is only issue for the people in the car and not everyone in the church or Funeral Home
