BUT considering I was once in a very controlling and abusive relationship, I fear that my loved ones will view my relationship with my future Master as being another abusive one.

And you might well be again if you are not careful
you are young, pretty and sexy and have children to bring up
don't tell everybody too much, don't make your family worried
take care of yourself and your children
don't rush into anything... especially not some weird fairytale

Some mothers and some daughters actually do talk about sex with each other, share details and not go LALALA\LALALALALA\LA I CAN'T HEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR YOU.

Is it for every mother daughter? No, but not every M and D pair act like it's the most awful thing ever to know about each others sex lives.

I don't want nitty gritty details like first I........ and then he.......... and then we.......... But sex is a topic that's always been open to discuss between my mom and I. She doesn't mind hearing about me being a sexual being and I don't mind about hearing about her being a sexual being. As long as it's kind of generic lol. Like I said I don't want to hear nitty gritty details but general things, ok fine. We laugh about some of the escapades we get up to.

What do I tell my family/friends?
Nothing. What business is it of theirs how you go about your sex life or how you structure your significant relationship. If you feel you simply must tell them, then tell them the truth, but be prepared to lose some of them over it.

Again, why would they even know?  And if they do for some strange reason find out and can't understand...then fuck em...cut them loose and move on.

Oh my this is the 3rd post I've made...I must be filled with questions tonight.

Anyway, I have explained a little to friends and family my desire to have a dominant role in my life and they usually just assume I want a "husband". So I started wondering, what happens when I start actually living this lifestyle? What happens when I finally meet that dom/master I want to be with? What happens with I am owned (if ever)? What do I tell my family/friends?

I am not one to hide things. I am an open book. Strangely enough, especially with my mother...I have always and continue to tell her everything.

BUT considering I was once in a very controlling and abusive relationship, I fear that my loved ones will view my relationship with my future Master as being another abusive one.

Honey,
You don't have to tell everyone about what kind of life you want anymore than you have to tell a parent if you are having your period.
Some things are better kept to yourself with some people in your life.
Just tell the people you feel safe with...who won't make you feel bad about the choices you have made for yourself.
You will know who those people are instinctively.

What a delightful little light you are...♥
