I am not thrilled about the job President Obama is doing, but he inherited a sinking ship, and he is 10 billion times better than baby Bush, so at least we are going in the right direction. [;)]

Tazzy, the operative word is "had." Even my nephew who goes to U.N.H. took down the poster in his room of "Mr Hopey Changey" and he's in that critical 18-35 age group. (24) And the housing market continues to go down, the job situation is abyssmal, and wait till the class of 2011 can't get jobs in their chosen fields.

"Chosen" fields? Since when does a degree guarentee you a job in a field? In any field? And what is the GOP doing about jobs? Nada. McCain was supposed to be the "chosen" one. Didnt happen. The ecomony was so sour no one wanted a repeat. The people still blame the GOP for the mess we are in today. As the next election rolls around, the voting booths will fill again. The GOP may very well sustain the white vote again. It wont be able to carry the "other" votes. Why? Because they shot themselves in the foot on the state level. These governors who think... yeah... I got 2 more years to make these people happy... forgot year two is an election year for the President. Obviously, someone needed to send out a memo.

Guarantee? First off, use the spell checker. The GOP, well conservatives at least as we have lots of RINO's still, are working to stop the socialist expansion of government. Sadly, we need to "seize" (to use the inflammatory words of the left) the White House and Senate before we can really do some good. Asking for a measley 61 billion cut in spending is a drop in the bucket when you look at a 14 trillion dollar deficit, FOUR TRILLION since Dear Leader took over. BUT, I've found the silliest excercise is the one where I as a conservative try to be rational with a Democrat/leftist. The only think I want to do is DEFEAT them.

And more bad news for Oblunder, Hillary Clinton's likability rating with the American People has gone from 61% up to 66%. Ouch!
