^ LOL I agree about the health factor. Fortunately HIV has a short lifespan when dried out so you can even reuse bloodied leather if handled correctly. Porous ropes, blindfolds, scarves, sheets, etc all get washed and dried in a dryer. Non porous rubber, plastic and metal get a good soak in bleach or boiling is fine. Non porous furniture like cages, vinyl bench pads etc get Staphene® Spray. For leather, I rotate my whips/cuffs after cleaning with saddle soap into an isolation period of 10 days of drying. They are ventilated and hanging in open air (not a duffel bag) so they dry thoroughly. HIV can only live a few hours when dry.
