I tend to see it the way the OP does. It's important to keep perspective on kink, no doubt, but it's a different dynamic and treating it the same is neither reasonable nor effective in my opinion. As to the line, for me it's not really there; being a dom is such a part of who I am that I can't think of things as if i weren't. I simply have to approach them according to the deficits God gave me, as it were.
