Dude it is not about Democracy- that sounds so Bush like- it is about rising food prices. and of course it is a test. Obama already wants a kill switch. THINK. He wants to be able to cut our net. So of course he will note how this run goes.

Dude, I know it's kind of a party foul to block you on your own thread, but I don't buy your theory, and the mainstream version of this is plenty interesting. Joe Biden says Egypt's Mubarak no dictator, he shouldn't step down... I hope his boss over-rules him on this.

The problem in the states is that the internet is not a state run ISP, there are hundreds of ISPs in the United States, making it virtually impossible to shut down the internet.

There are two possible outcomes to the unrest - either Mubarak and his son remain in power, or they do not. Biden tried to hedge his bets and side with both and it didn't come out well. Mubarak has ruled with an iron fist for decades. The prices for basic commodities has risen recently, and the financial inequity in Egypt has been festering for years. Interesting to see what happens. If Tunisia and Egypt both fall, the other Arab states are going to get VERY nervous.
