If the land must be liquidated- then it should be traded for silver and each person should get this in real time- in person- their share of the proceeds.

Chuckles.   I hope the UK does not force us to sell our forests.   The UK seems un-governable these days.  How could it not be?  Those people are not created equal-- and do not have unalienable rights like we do.

People can be told anything when a country isn't doing so well and if they believe what they are told, they will accept what they are told and there do their master's bidding. But trees and heath now, what's next, the beaches, harbours, fishing grounds perhaps.

Dude-  this is UN agenda 21.

If Goldman wants your forests- then knock yourself out.  I think it is not fair- but if the people of the UK want that- then so be it.

Seriously do you have to turn everything into Goldman or aliens?

Who do you think owns your butt?

Not much chance of forcing you to sell your forests, but it's odds on we'll force you to sell your computer. Someone once said: "women aren't born, they're made" - does this apply to idiots, too?

We are not on such harmful meds either. What do you think your bill of rights is based on ?

Where do you think the profits from the sale of publicallly owned land are going to go, pray tell? It's another desperate attempt by a conservative government to raise some cash without hiking tax rates on the people who vote for them.
