Hey been interested in this in a while so giving it a go. Just any tips would be good. Looking at the categories I find myself realizing I may be a submissive, but completely straight guy so again any pointers would be most appreciated. Just really just kind of new to this but again have been very interested for a while.

Dunno what to tell you... just read the forums (especially Ask a Sub/Slave and Ask a Mistress) here, and learn. Go to local groups. Meet people.

Thanks for the tips. And yeah that's certainly helped me with the girls in the past to say the least, so happy to see it'll help here too :)

Your obviously respectful and curious attitude is a HUGE plus. Always approach Femdoms that way and you will get more answers than the usual fuckwad.

Seems to me the FemDommes got together and posted a "permanent" thread at top of "Ask a Mistress." Read it and mention something from it in your first approach and you will be miles and miles ahead of the pack.

Always read her profile and see what overlaps and mention that. Many FemDommes have something of the form "If you have read this far, good. Please be sure to mention [whatever] at the beginning of your post. That way, I know you have read this far."

Women (not just here, but women in general) want a relationship first and foremost, and guess what? THEY GET TO CHOOSE ! ! ! So you must market yourself appropriately. First step: FInd a commonality among you target audience. AKA Define your target audience. And then,.... well, go take MKGT 101. LOL!

FIX YOUR PROFILE!

Since there are so many male subs, many FemDommes use a filter of grammar and spelling.

Good color choice, but break up that monolithlic profile by inserting some eye-relaxing extra "enter keys."

Your profile says nothing about what YOU bring to the table!

LD (Long Distance) relationships (i.e. on-line) are HARD work for D-types. Just sayin'

Yeah finals are finally done, and besides catching up with friends back home, I finally got plenty of time, so yeah thanks for the tips Lance and I'll make sure to work on the profile and check the post you linked :)

to CM and the boards. Read the thread old and newer, use the search button top right hand corner of any page here and enter a subject that interests you, there's plenty to be found. And the advice you've already been given is good, so good luck in your search.
