Hey been interested in this in a while so giving it a go. Just any tips would be good. Looking at the categories I find myself realizing I may be a submissive, but completely straight guy so again any pointers would be most appreciated. Just really just kind of new to this but again have been very interested for a while.

Welcome! Dunno what to tell you... just read the forums (especially Ask a Sub/Slave and Ask a Mistress) here, and learn. Go to local groups. Meet people. I note that your profile is NOT solely of kinks you want done to you, and that gives you a HUGE advantage in meeting Dominant women. Good luck and have fun!

Your obviously respectful and curious attitude is a HUGE plus. Always approach Femdoms that way and you will get more answers than the usual fuckwad. NO dick shots! Women (not just here, but women in general) want a relationship first and foremost, and guess what? THEY GET TO CHOOSE ! ! ! So you must market yourself appropriately. FIX YOUR PROFILE! Since there are so many male subs, many FemDommes use a filter of grammar and spelling. Good color choice, but break up that monolithlic profile by inserting some eye-relaxing extra "enter keys." Your profile says nothing about what YOU bring to the table! LD (Long Distance) relationships (i.e. on-line) are HARD work for D-types. Just sayin'

Yeah finals are finally done, and besides catching up with friends back home, I finally got plenty of time, so yeah thanks for the tips Lance and I'll make sure to work on the profile and check the post you linked :)
