While I do agree with the other responses, just to play devil's advocate, some men like instant gratification. I get guys asking me for my IM right off the bat all the time. And they only want to use Yahoo which they tend to have, not gtalk, which I have. Makes for a good filtering system. Mandy, there was a lot of good advice here; I hope you take it to heart. Best, KK

I haven't read your profile, but judging by the feeling here, it can't be too flattering. And your nic indicates a certain lack of self respect on your part, but that's just me. In my experience, the guys who start off saying "prove your a woman via cam" are only looking for online live porn......I won't do it, so therefore, the guys just pass on by, which is fine with me, because I have standards and will NOT compromise them in any way. For me, it weeds out the assholes. But if you have pics on your profile, then I'm not sure what they think you have to prove to them. They'll either take your word for it or not......again, it's the wankers who want to see the cam stuff. I have found that by not posting pics, and not even having pics to share, it weeds out the losers from the keepers. If they will make the effort to meet me sight unseen, then there's a good possibility that they aren't assholes looking for a quickie. It's worked for me for years, and I'm not fixing what ain't broke! I also don't ask for pics.....while the outside package is a consideration, it's not the FIRST one for me!

I wanted to look at her profile too. I guess I am different than most, if someone can give me an engaging conversation I am going to be glad of that. Now yeah, I'd like to see cam, I'd like to hear voice, and I'd like to meet in person. And if you're a guy pretending to be a girl and we meet in person it might get awkward. On he other hand if you are a guy pretending to be a girl and doing it well, and you give me an engaging conversation, perhaps some online roleplay, and so forth, I'm not going to complain. And that includes if I find out you're a man. (note, this is not to suggest that mandy is a man, I do wish she's put her profile back up though, I like boobies, and holes, and human cows.)

I really don't understand why people are so damn uptight about reasonably proving they are real... After all there are a good number of picture stealing, liars that are online. (Think about it for a second). If you have webcam issues, make certain you have a small collection of photo's of yourself (none professional ones) What I think is funny, is that anybody that has been 100% straight up has shared pictures or jumped on webcam without me asking them to do so. They are smart enough to know the difference it makes to begin with.

Don't be sad about getting this kind of response. Think of it this way, inside of ten seconds he showed himself to be an ass who isn't worth your time. You might have wasted three months otherwise before you discovered how stupid and closed minded he is. Instead you managed to save all that time. It's like going shopping, and looking at something on the hanger and being able to say that there is no way that would look good on you versus having to waste time trying it on before coming to the same conclusion. This guy, and the others like him, have shown themselves not to be worth your time. Although anybody whose first comment is 'nice tits' is someone you should never respond to. You deserve to be treated like a person, not a cut of meat. You deserve to be treated with respect.

If your profile consists of tit pics or ass pics and there is no face, and damn little to get a handle on in your profile text, perhaps some goddamn well worn Anais Nin quote or whatnot, or some breezy vague shit ...... Hello mandy. You already have your own solutions. If they want to see you, they have to talk with you on Skype, not Yahoo IM. If they have a problem with this, there will be plenty of others who don't. If someone is and impatient, rude asshat...then maybe this is is part of a good weeding out process and you should consider yourself well rid of them. As for myself, I talk on my Trak phone if they wish so they can hear for themselves that I am female, and I am willing to have a first meetup by the second week. A lot of people are weeded out in those two weeks, and sometimes I am the one weeded out and they move on to greener pastures. I have people who demand pix or web camming...and I just say NO. Maybe you you will decide to make a journal entry saying that if the man cannot do Skype then web camming is out of the question. I am still responding to the OP because...if her profile is down, maybe she has taken advice about her username and is making a new profile, or has hidden it and is still checking in here to read.

mandy, I had a "racey" profile once and I had diddlers from worldwide saying those types of things. And nobody's profile is perfect, it's too subjective. Take it down a notch if you don't like your responses. And to me, there is a big difference between "confirmations by webcam" vs "nice tits! webcam?"...lol. No brainer there...delete the latter. My only problem with webcam is feeling I need to have my hair and makeup on just to get online for a while. :)
