Feel free to redirect me if this has been done before.

What is it about people demanding webcam verification before they talk? I can understand the fear of investing time into talking to a woman only to find out that she's a man, or vice versa, or that it's someone with a fake pic and the hot 20 year old is 50 with a unibrow, but...

My webcam glitches all the time, because my laptop is a piece of crap. I will not buy one... but am I wrong in thinking that if you want someone to get on a webcam and prove that they're real, shouldn't you at least invest some time in talking to them? Some dom refused to even talk to me once I admitted that my webcam is broken via my instant messenger. I would have told him that I have skype, which lets my cam work for some reason... but he was such an ass, I didn't want to.

There are (supposedly) many men posing as women and many scammers, people like to verify the person before getting too deeply involved.

yes, but this person didn't put in ANY effort, just... 'hey girl, nice tits. webcam?' and i said 'no', and he said... 'sorry DUDE, I'll pass'. If he had made any effort at all, it would be different. Makes me sad.

Maybe if your profile didnt give the impression you'll accept anyone, (both wording and picture) you'd get approached as a human being.

I find that it doesn't really matter what I put in my profile. The only ones who read it are the message-board people.

And I post this type of picture because if anyone I know saw my face, I'd be fired.

A wise, kind, noble man who used to post here was very fond of saying that water finds its own level.

You get out of CM what you put in - I've never once been asked to verify by cam, because I don't talk to people likely to make that kind of idiot demand. Don't like it? Raise your standards.

I know it's a revolutionary concept, but it is possible to take a pic that hides both face and nipples.

Ok , no face pic is reasonable, but that doesnt mean you cant show a clothed body shot.
