The son of libertarian congressman Ron Paul defeated Democrat Jack Conway. Republicans have captured the first of what they hope will be several Senate seats that were held by Democrats with the victory of Dan Coats in Indiana. The veteran lawmaker returns to Washington in the seat that was held by retiring Democrat Evan Bayh. South Carolina Republican Jim DeMint, as expected, has won re-election to the Senate, defeating Democrat Alvin Greene. Greene shocked and sometimes embarrassed his party by winning the Senate primary as a complete unknown. The unemployed military veteran is still facing obscenity charges involving a teenage college student. In Vermont, Democrat Patrick Leahy was re-elected to a seventh term

Are you guys and gals aware that this guy belongs to a "medical" association that supports the belief that HIV doesn't cause AIDS? In other words, he is an HIV/AIDS denialist! And this is someone you want making critical decisions that could impact our nation's healthcare policies?

Are you aware that being a member of an organization doesnt mean you hold all of the same views of that organization. Hint: If you are not aware of that then you also must think that Obama holds the racist and anti-American views of Rev Wright and Black Theology. Why dont you produce a single statement of his that says he denies the link? You might also read about some of the questionable statistics that support the link.

Rubio, I like. His acceptance speech was not as full as demands and what he was going to have Congress "deliberate" on. Rubio isn't my idea of a radical. At least his rant isn't we're taking America back...as if someone put it somewhere else!

Rand should scare the piss out of anybody. He doesn't hold himself accountable to anybody and thinks he's the turning point of America-not just American politics. He's anti every forward social movement we've made as a country in the last 100 years. We should all be very fuckin afraid.

I find it humorous- that - the media bashed Rand -- and the people of KY seen right thru it. Rand is after all a DOCTOR. The fake college girl kid nap- turning off Rands mic at key points of interview. I am excited for KY. A happy day indeed.
