Lady Hib,

You are right ... i should be thinking of my newer, current friends! :)

Mark the date: Friday, Dec 10, 2010 Canadiens - Red Wings 7:00 PM

i'll get the tix ... You plan to be there! :)

Hopefully, the four Michigan born and raised Red Wings ... will give the Habs a taste ... of what they did for years! ;-)

Also congrats ... on the new nephew ... Sweet Dommes ... :)

SweetDommes -> RE: October Roll Call (10/5/2010 8:31:55 PM)

Thanks for the congrats - I mostly just sat next to my sis-in-law and held her hand until her little boy was out (scheduled c-section) and he blew a snot bubble on her LOL

SthrnCom4t -> RE: October Roll Call (10/5/2010 10:17:26 PM)

Oct 6th - We are still living and loving our Bliss, here in Colorado. Looking back at summer, we had a great time. A great balance of camping, time with friends, Thunder and just quality time.

My work situation is stabilizing and I found out last week that I won't have to reapply for my position. Nice little piece of stress expelled from the backpack. My boss is still clueless, but his is not, so I feel like we have him in a pretty neutralized place. I have no problem contacting her directly, so life is good. I'm also back on 4 10 hour shifts, which makes a HUGE difference in my life. Three days of being off a week completely tips my happiness and moral scale to the positive side.

Otter's work is going well. He's intelligent, creative and resourceful, so the frame shop will have a safety net from alternate income sources. It means less financial stress, but also less time for us to spend together, so we're being cognizant and aware and communicating a lot around that subject.

I've started trimming down the annuals on the patio, but the tomato plant is still producing 3-4 a day. Not bad for a little container plant. Bell peppers may ripen on the vine, but it will be close.....not enough sun, but they're getting a red tint to them.

New dog is off all meds, and it appears we can control his allergies by feeding him the caviar-priced dog food. He is just amazing though, and such a source of joy and happiness from dawn to midnight. Love and silliness wrapped up in a soft, fluffy, playful 70# bundle. We love him so much!

We almost always have too little free time to socialize with all those we want to. One of our downfalls is putting too many things on the calendar. At the end of last week it all caught up with us, and we had to make some adjustments and regroup. Regrouping is quite a delicious way to spend time, and I see us doing more of it on a regular basis. As I opened with, the BLISS Scale is back to being set at HIGH!

In 2 weeks, we walk a 1/2 marathon. I have concerns because we haven't trained. But we need to attend the t-com seminar, and get back into focus for eating and living a healthy lifestyle that includes regular exercise. Apparently spanking doesn't count :(  I had a lot of energy back in the spring, so I'm looking forward to finding that groove again. (And the fact that we've drunk most of the case of wine we bought while in Palisades, over the Labor day holiday. will go a long way to helping us get back on track because the distraction is gone!)

Wow, it's late....off to bed for early morning back to work!

Blessed Be to All,

October sees me with a new nephew. 7lbs 8oz and 20.5 inches at birth. He's eating well, and gaining weight appropriately.

Congrats!

I love halloween more than my own birthday. Plus I celebrate the entire month. People want more masks but they do not provide the appropriate palm husks.

There is no way I am going to be alone on Halloween. I cannot stand to have another lonely 31st filled with grief and misery.

*hangs the skeletons, make friends with that bats and frogs, and dance*

BlaiddDrwg -> RE: October Roll Call (10/6/2010 10:58:56 PM)

October sees me still on the job hunt, and preparing to celebrate both my birthday and Samhain. Not much else going on with me.

I understand. Watching horror movies alone just is not the same.

Madame4a -> RE: October Roll Call (10/7/2010 6:34:56 AM)

Everyone seems busy... no surprise I guess.  I am too.. and yes, yet another busy witch, that's for sure.  I can't wait for Halloween -- I want to get our decorations up but they don't last too long in the neighborhood, so I'll have to wait a bit.

In the meantime, this past weekend was the darling boy's 40th B;'day and something I had planned since June.  I flew her Ma and Sis in from AZ to celebrate with her and it was a surprise.  I pulled the whole things off, with a bit of help with airprot transfers and it was GREAT!  WE took them to a Leather Meet and Greet on friday night, after raiding my closet of latex and leather and dressing them up -- they had a blast.  WE've taken them to stuff before so it wasn't all a surprise.  There was also, conveniently a drag show and they love 'em .. so it turned out well.  We also took them to the Ren Fair and had a ball.

As for the month, it will be more moving in and getting settled.  The boy is working about 60 hours a week, so we're jealously guarding our time, still struggling to get more leather and D/s stuff into our lives but we're working on it.  We'll go to Ren Fair at least two more times this month and then its on to November.  We have a lot on our plates but slowly but surely we're getting the house together.

Above all else... LLife is good.

LaTigresse -> RE: October Roll Call (10/7/2010 9:22:38 AM)

Life is grand here. Very very busy and boring vanilla stuff, to most people, (except for a little visit from an old friend last Sunday...;) but it's all good vanilla stuff.

The puppy is getting big, she is pushing 70# now. She was an angel when I took her to our big family gathering/picnic/hike.

Just had the last motocross race of the year last Saturday. I will miss it and all that it entails but it sure did a good job of eating up the weekends.

It is much cooler and dryer, more fun to be outdoors. I am hoping to get some decent riding in after I finish the orchard harvest and canning (hopefully that happens this weekend) and getting my winter supply of hay stocked. There are hundreds of little things that need done around the farm before cold weather. I get tired just thinking about it.

Generic Dude has finished his transition from a career in one field combined with school, studying and testing........to his new career. He is still in shock I think but it is going to be so much better for him.

My son is still in Peru and will be until mid December. All I can say is how really awesome Skype is!!! I was able to take my laptop, a webcam, and my Verizon thingamajiggy, and set it up for him talk to his sons at the motocross track so they could tell him all about the races and show off their trophies. It is a fabulous invention! Still, because they are 6 &7 they don't understand why their daddy is gone and their mother is not making it easier, rather, more difficult. Hopefully, one day, they understand he is doing it for them. Even if they don't now.

No prospective s-types but then again.......I haven't been willing to put any time into looking either. I simply do not have any extra time at this point. I am okay with that!

AlexandraLynch -> RE: October Roll Call (10/7/2010 5:55:33 PM)

Life moves on. My father-in-law's caregiver unexpectedly died, and my roommate moved in with him to take care of him. I do respite care for him once a week now.

I got a commission to do three couples' charts and that is $300 to finish up my holiday purchasing, which makes me very happy.

Eruditesubm -> RE: October Roll Call (10/10/2010 7:58:53 AM)

Late this time as I got married the 7 th to my slave pedro and feel very happy about the decision. It will be a very Ds life as we are retired and trying to rediscover the magic of the places we will live and of life itself. Wishing all a beautiful autumn and winter season... preparing for the rest!

LadyEternity -> RE: October Roll Call (10/11/2010 12:42:11 PM)

I thought since I've been actually responding every now and then instead of just trolling the waters that I should wave.

I know I show up as a snowy white vanilla cone. But I've actually been on collarme for a long time. Alot of you knew me as BloodLuna. I used to be a really active poster. Unfortunately that old account got seriously corrupted and I had to create a new one. But here I am:

I'm a part of a very . . . unique household. I identify as 99.9% dominant. I am married to a pre-op, MtF TG who is 110% dominant and head of the household. I do submit to her because I always have felt that you can't have two people leading a dance. We are poly and Pagan and scarey liberal. LOL I'm loud mouthed, blunt to the point of sometimes hurting people's feeling because I believe a lie is the ultimate evil. But I never really actually mean to hurt anyone's feelings. I'm really friendly, and affectionate with people I know, which sometimes leads people to believe I'm not as dominant as I am. I love everything about the BDSM lifestyle, about being a Mistress, about not hiding my sexuality or my nature. I have never had a vanilla relationship and have always been proud of that LOL.

I've missed alot of the collarme forums (even some of the in fighting LOL) I used to have some people here I considered friends and role models and hope to be joking with them in the forums again soon!

Lady E.
