Hello!

My name is Cody, and I'm new to this place. I'm actually really nervous about posting on here, so maybe this will help calm those nerves.

From what I've seen on here I have different views of the "Dom" and "Slave" relationship than most of the people I've looked at on here. But I have seen a few people with similar interests and thoughts, so I decided to stick around and give it a shot.

I consider myself to be submissive, because I really enjoy making the person I am with happy. Be it sexually or otherwise. I don't like the thought of being locked in a cage and being told who I can and can't talk to, though out of respect for my partner and due to my personal morals, I will always dedicate myself solely to the person I am with. When I say that, I mean that I will love and protect my partner, and maybe every now and then let them order me around for fun, but I'm not into being forced to do menial tasks or be humiliated. I am fairly new to what most of you call the "BDSM Community" and I am, to be honest, confused by how things are worded here. However, I know what I like and don't like, and I am very open to trying new things. I had a relationship with a wonderful girl that was also interested in trying new things and we found out a lot about ourselves. Regretfully that relationship is over, and now I am looking for a new one.
I am unsure what to say for my sexual orientation though. I am not against the idea of playing with another guy, but I am not at all interested in a relationship with one. I am more picky about what guys I would do things with than I am girls. The thought of kissing most guys makes me... I don't want to say sick... but I am really against it... but I don't mind the thought of doings things with another guys... parts. Maybe that makes me weird, but it's me. I love women, I love their body, I love their minds, I love everything about them. I am actively seeking a woman to please in every way that I am capable of, which is a pretty good amount of ways I believe. I'm not much for cleaning, but I can cook, very well, and love to do so. I am guessing "switch" means some one who is willing to be either "sub" or "dom" and if that is what makes my woman happy, then I am ok with that too. And that is what is important to me.

I work a whole lot more than I'd like to, but a mans gotta pay his bills. I turned to this site to try and find an actual relationship, because it is so hard to meet people with similar interests while working the schedule I do. I work nights, and most of the time I work an excess of 50 hours a week. Some weeks I work 70 hours. It's not my dream job by any means but its easy money, and they enjoy giving out overtime, and like I said, a mans gotta pay his bills. My job takes up a lot of my time (obviously) and tends to give me more stress than I need, so I am looking for someone to help me relieve it. If you are interested, let me know.

I have a bit of a twisted sense of humor, and I'm a bit of an asshole, but I mean good, and like to be goofy. Honestly, if anything I say offends anyone... I feel sorry for them. In this day and age if mere comments made in the intent of humor offends you, you should probably re-evaluate yourself. I believe humor is the cure for pretty much everything and I love laughing, and making people laugh. Making other people laugh makes me feel really good inside, and I will do what ever I can to do that as often as possible everyday. Even if it means telling god-awful cheesy one-liners, lol. I'm also a fan of jokes that make you go "Haha... wait... WHAT!?"

Actually, your post makes it sound like you would make a very good male sub for a woman. The caging crap is 99% fantasy stuff (yes, there are a few cages, but they're used for play only). The delicious thing from your point of view is that most alleged male subs have been turned on by porn fantasies and want to find a woman for the cages and junk. Speak to any of the lifestyle Dommes here, and they'll tell you that they're sick of idiots who think that D/s is the porn fantasy stuff - they just want a regular guy with a job and a life, looking for a relationship that happens to include D/s.

In other words, someone like you.

Head on over to the Ask a Mistress forum and read the posts and contribute, and get to know people and how you fit into the whole thing. And expect to find yourself a hot commodity.

Hmm, interesting. Maybe I just haven't looked around enough then. I was exaggerating a little with the cage thing but still. I have met a few people that were really into the whole "live-in man servant/ play toy" thing which amusingly is how I found out about this website orginally haha.

Still, it's comforting to know that I might actually fit in here.

Now I have always said men belonged in cages. Not in a D/s way. Just in the vanilla world

Welcome to CM and the boards. You'll fit right in, and it helps to read old and newer threads also to get the hang of it. But do me a favor, use a bigger font, I had to almost sit on the monitor to make out what you wrote.
