You have an odd definition of "beating up". And the "young girl" (actually her name is Young) received closer to $200,000 and returned to work at ebay.

What she did at eBay was unbelieveable.

I was one of many people who used eBay to make a little money off their hobbies. Whitman's policy changes basically drove all the small to medium sellers out and left just the dedicated pros, usually people just drop shipping mass market crap, and the occasional sellers. It just got so hard to do business within their rules and they made the buyers so powerful that sellers were basically at the mercy of the buyer.

It's already issuing IOUs instead of checks.  Kinda like compulsory zero-interest bonds with no stated maturity date.

It doesn't matter who wins - the only solution is massive cuts.  I honestly don't see much difference in the governing styles of Whitman or Brown because the state's situation will dictate policy, not the gov's ideology.
