To clarify...when a command is given, I don't question it.  But I might ask why later on, when we talk about it.  "Master, you know when you had me do such n such?  Would you mind sharing what your thoughts were behind that?" 

This doesn't happen so much anymore, but it did the first year we were together.

In the early days with him, I did ask "why" a lot.  We did a lot of theorhetical talk back then, so he could gauge where my mind was.  It was not uncommon for me to ask, "Why would a Master want.....(insert whatever here)?"  Never ever, did i ask "Why?" as a command was given.  "Kneel, slut."  "Why?"  Ha...I would not be where I am today if that were the case.  But..."What are your thoughts if told to....(inset whatever here)?"  might have an inquisitive response.
