"the poop" = did they indicate to you what the actual problem or the solution was?
This happened to me quite some time ago.....even support couldn't fix it, hence the second profile.
As far as feeling insulted.....you ain't seen nuttin' yet......it'll happen alot, either on purpose or by accident. Alot of it depends on what order the posts are put on.....peruse the boards. You will see folks being helpful and duplicating the responses all the time....heck, i've done it myself. Often, if you're looking for help, the person responding will just read the post and put an answer out there without reading the rest of the responses. Stay here long enough, and you'll be the one doing the same thing, and getting what sounds like a snarky response back. The point is....no matter what, just say "thanks" and let whatever you were going to type go away. And grow a thicker skin.....that helps too......
