Yes, because she announced earlier this year that this will be her last season for the Oprah show. She, apparently wants to explore other areas of her life.

Yeah I am not sure how washed up someone can be if they are as rich as rich can be. I heard she is just leaving tv to go be on digital tv. I am not her biggest fan but Dr Phil squicks me to the marrow.

Much of TV I wont watch due to the endless commercials. Now I see youtube is getting commercial creep. I often click the page off- then to set thru a commercial.

Scary how much power someone so under-educated has. She perpetuates so much misinformation and lies about her personal life, and combined with seeing her congregation following her blindly gives you a sense of how religions form. At least she tries to use some of her power and money for good, so I hope the person who fills her void does also.

School is for people who want schooling. To make a broad sweep and say everyone should go to school because that would mean they had better life skills is so not reality. The big picture holds for way more pieces of the pie to make the whole. I would bet there are some 'uneducated' folks are as smart, or even smarter than the smartest students. School is for folks who want to go down that road and not everyone does and this does not make them less of anything except school educated. People who only see it this way that you have to go to school to be someone suck, imo.
