Oprah is an amazing story...There was no legacy. Self made woman. She is powerful and brilliant!!! She is not always on the mark and I disagree with some things that she has had to say. She keeps her personal life private as much as possible and really does seem to have a keen interest in helping people. I think she is a very intelligent woman and has earned every penny that has come her way. To suggest that she is under or uneducated is just the babbling of the ignorant.

Thank heavens for the voice of reason. Most wealthy people aren't highly educated at all. They're ballsy risk takers that aren't afraid to fail. They'll step on and over you if you get in their way. And they're darned good at creating opportunities, capitalizing on possibilities that others don't recognize, exploiting their environment, and outshining others around them. Fitting in isn't their m.o. but standing out is. And most couldn't care less what anyone thinks about them. They're usually well adept at people dynamics and convincing others to advocate and believe in them. But not your average Joe -- persons in a position that will prove beneficial to their bottom line. And you don't learn that in Harvard, Yale, or any other notable institution. Leaders are born, not made. ~porcelaine
