last night- matzah ball soup. dinner party menu for tonight- linguine with ratatouille sauce, scallops with tarragon butter sauce, orzo salad, and chocolate-blood orange cake.

Tonight we'll be having scallops Provencal, wild mushroom risotto, composed salad with leaf lettuce, tomatoes, marinated green bean, slivered carrots and peas with balsamic dressing. Homemade chocolate truffles and vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I haven't decided what to serve first. Any ideas?

Marriage...a dinner conversation subject OR is that a subject to be discussed after desert?<<<TYPO [;)]

definitely after desert [:D]

Have any dessert requests? If so, just let me know AND I will get to whipping up the most delicious dessert AND I promise not anything related to a desert [sm=cactus.gif] as I wrongly typed in my former entry. Unless of course the dessert is a Southwest dessert.

Oh yes, I guarantee this dessert will be good enough that even the queen of all good AND yes perfect cooking Martha Stewart will become insanely jealous! Is your mouth watering yet? Tastebuds tingling? [;)]

Dinner is way past but since it was so delicious I will post it here before I finally get some much needed sleep from a very demanding day.

Grilled Alaskan Salmon with lemon dill sauce
Fresh organic greens salad with raspberry vinaigrette
Roasted red potatoes with rosemary, fresh garlic and course sea salt
Papaya sorbet with fresh mango
Iced herbal blackberry tea with fresh sprigs of mint

Yes, I was the chef for a dear friend of mine. Actually I am an excellent cook and gourmet chef. It was a simple tasty meal. I did my chef work and she did the prep and dishes work, with my assistance of course

Dammit, Zevar, you're gonna raise the bar for what the wimmins expect from us mens!  Cut that out!!!  [sm=angry.gif]

Actually I have an idea. Since you are talking about raising the bar… What do you say about composing a cookbook titled, “ Dominant men’s cookbook just for hiz wimmins” It’s worth giving the concept some thought OR if that does not truly raise the bar….

How about a thread in the Ask a Master forum…entitled “Ask a master what he cooks for hiz wimmins” Maybe that is a wrong idea. I don’t know…It could be fun. Who knows what turns and twists a thread like that might take? I dare not even dream how it could turn. Just look at the Men in my panties and Keeping abreast threads, aye?

Tonight's dinner is fresh line caught halibut, with garlic, shallots, white wine and scallions. Pan seared and served with some sauteed lobster on top.

On the side, some asparagus and rice pilaf. Dessert is tiramisu, and with dinner a bottle of Pinot Grigio. I *love* to cook.
