So hello hot sexy CMs.

Whats for lunch?

I can stop over in 10 minutes.   I am cooking up a steak with mushrooms, and vegies- it will be lunch and dinner.  The meat was knocked down $1 but have to cook it today.   Yay.

Too hot to cook--I microwaved a Lean Pocket for lunch and had that with a fresh peach and some yogurt.

Made chili verde and rice for dinner with a salad with avocado dressing.

Tomorrow will be baked pork chops, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, mashed cauliflower, and arugula salad.

Being lazy as hell tonight and just grilled up some cheeseburgers and made fries and opened a bag of salad. Then again, no one ever tends to complain when I make burgers...

I am going to bake a batch of buffalo chicken dip for the weekend.   It is one of my favorite things in the world.  I think some slushy blender drinks are also in the plan.

This recipe, except I do NOT use canned chicken, because that is gross.

Dinner is way past but since it was so delicious I will post it here before I finally get some much needed sleep from a very demanding day.

Grilled Alaskan Salmon with lemon dill sauce
Fresh organic greens salad with raspberry vinaigrette
Roasted red potatoes with rosemary, fresh garlic and course sea salt
Papaya sorbet with fresh mango
Iced herbal blackberry tea with fresh sprigs of mint

Yes, I was the chef for a dear friend of mine. Actually I am an excellent cook and gourmet chef. It was a simple tasty meal. I did my chef work and she did the prep and dishes work, with my assistance of course

Too hot to cook tonight, so I stopped at the local cocina and picked up some pollo asado.
I went there for the carnitas, but the pollo asado just looked and smelled too good to pass up! [:D]

For breakfast this morning I am making Dutch baby pancakes - sort of like Yorkshire pudding topped with powdered sugar and fresh lemon juice - bacon, and lots of fruit with watermelon agua fresca to drink.

xxblushesxx -> RE: Watcha cooking good lookn? (7/16/2010 2:00:29 PM)

Dinner last night was pulled pork, fresh sweet corn, and garlic noodles.

Tonight HM will be having a french dip from the beef roast I made two nights ago, and salad with fresh tomatoes from the garden. The little monsters and I will have frozen pizza and salad with fresh red bell peppers from the garden.

Tomorrow? Eh...Idk. Takeout?

BonesFromAsh -> RE: Watcha cooking good lookn? (7/16/2010 2:28:07 PM)

Tonight was Ratatouilli (sorry, no photo)

Marriage...a dinner conversation subject OR is that a subject to be discussed after desert? [;)]

SaintAllie -> RE: Watcha cooking good lookn? (7/16/2010 11:09:46 PM)

well.. in NZ it's already the 17th of july.. I think we are about 16 hours ahead?

Currently, I have a roast leg of lamb in the oven, for dinner, along with roast vege's and gravy.

It helps that we are in winter.. whilst I know you are all in the height of summer.

Allie

I think I'll make an avocado and crab soup for lunch today as I have both that need to be used. It's just some chicken broth, blended with avocado, a little cream, and lime or lemon juice (just drops) with some crab dropped in. Can swirl in a little sour cream for a garnish if desired. Season with salt and white pepper.
