My massage therapist, who I have been incidentally been seeing for 12 years, often jokes around about being a Dominatrix. As far as I know, she doesn't know about my proclivities. Now as far whether or not acts are dominant or submissive, this issue is one of great debate often times in FemDomme relationships. I formed my opinion on this issue quite early on however and I am resolved in that don't see anything that I order a man to do to me as an act where he will be dominating me.

This sums it up quite perfectly for me.

that would depend upon your definition of what makes you "a submissive"...it certainly isn't this slave's place to label you according to her personal perception or experience with submission.
what takes place during the performance of your job might or might not have anything or everything to do with how you perceive and experience submission. for this slave, submitting to another under specific terms of employment or in the context of a relationship, is still submitting.

I give massage too, but the only power I feel from it is focus. It allows me to focus because it is giving me open space on which to think while giving someone else relief. I never think of it as topping but I can see how some might. And I had the chance to stimulate someones prostate once but it was on orders, under his direction and with his coaching, no part of that was topping for me.
I think it is all in how you percieve it.

I do not see them as the same. I have bottomed without an ounce of submission. I see submission as a mental and emotional elements. Bottoming are the motions.

I am a little suprized that all the Dommes say this is not a submissive act. I expected a few to say it was and some to say no. I see it mentioned so much in the Mistress threads.

That's  a slightly different type of milking. As someone said above, milking can also mean, theoretically, draining off semen/prostate fluid without achieving orgasm.

Really though it does still come down to intent and who remains in control.

What would happen if you followed through on that impulse to throw the collar on him?

The purpose of milking is to allow the slave to ejaculate without an orgasm. Milking seems to produce more ejaculate than being allowed to come. slave has been milked over a saucer and then ordered to lick it clean
