I mean, I have drawn a lot of parallels between being a deep tissue massage therapist and dominanting. I give people good pain and have to use my knowlege and instinct to know how far to go without going too far. I know my stuff and have a great deal of confidence in my craft. My massage therapist, who I have been incidentally been seeing for 12 years, often jokes around about being a Dominatrix. As far as I know, she doesn't know about my proclivities. Let me tell you, when she gets down to working out some of the kinks in my back, it can be quite painful. When I had pain with my sciatica for a while (thank goodness I resolved this), she could bring me to tears with some of the work she did to work it out. But that said, there was never a moment while I was on that table where I felt submissive. I could abandon myself to a certain degree because I trusted her, but I know that she was providing me with a service. Simply. Now as far whether or not acts are dominant or submissive, this issue is one of great debate often times in FemDomme relationships. I formed my opinion on this issue quite early on however and I am resolved in that don't see anything that I order a man to do to me as an act where he will be dominating me. This sums it up quite perfectly for me. quote:
ORIGINAL: Mercnbeth there is only one "submissive act"...submitting. how is just one of the details.
