Ok, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is on tv...and as a kid I was fascinated by the part where they locked the kids up in cages. What totally innocent shows gave your impressionable young mind some inspiration?

Even younger...A Canadian children's show called The Friendly Giant. The FG lived in a castle. He was very masculine, and his voice was low but soft, and his two co-stars were fairly submissive. Jerome the Giraffe came when FG whistled, and the rooster, Rusty, was always gently lifted out of his little nest in the giant's two big hands.

In my heart I always swooned. LOL

WOW! Someone else who fantasizes about Mrs. Cleaver as much as I do..lol. Leave It to Beaver is my all-time favorite tv show.

My thoughts were along the same lines as yours with the addition of envisioning her pearl necklace as a collar.
