Actually, with my younger horse (the one I am more likely to get dumped off of), I don't carry my phone because I want to focus 100% on what I am doing so I do not get dumped. I don't want to hear it ring, I don't want it to vibrate, and I don't want to worry about doing something to damage it. I want all of my attention, in the moment.

I put my cell phone in the front of my bra. The styles I wear tend to have a firm base between the breasts which hold the phone in securely.

Even then, branches etc......would probably be tearing it off.

I never carried mine either, even when i was on the horse who thought it was funny to toss my ass off (i swear the lil shit would turn around just as i hit the ground, and SNICKER!) Then he threw me when we were on a red dog road and it was a long, painful walk back to the house. Now i turn it off and carry it in my boot.

I either wear riding sneakers or english style boots........no place for a phone in either. Plus, I just don't want to carry it. I survived before I had one and rode a lot crazier then than now.

It's in my purse, the pocket of my coat, or on on the shelf under my desk. I love clothes with pockets! Truly, I do not have my phone with me every minute. I hate the phone, and if I don't get to it in time, voice mail will deal.

i have a MOMpurse. Sure the phone gets tossed in there, along with a few juice boxes, baby wipes, 2-3 toys, a container of Cherrios, a bag of pretzels because the LO does not like Cherrios...etc. It rings, but i have yet to hear it. [8\|]

I am required by my employer to always have my cell phone with me. I don't carry a purse, so pockets are a must. If I set it down, I'll probably forget it when I go to a different floor. She kinda gets upset when she can't get through to me. sigh
