And now for the rest of the story, no illnesses have been caused by this and none are likely. the DNA involved comes from a virus that doesn't cause illness in any animal. As a matter of fact we consume the entire live active virus all the time when we eat pork products.

OTOH rotavirus killed about 1/2 million children every year before the vaccine became available.

and an addendum to that story, thats why just about anywhere in the world, it is equally safe to buy drugs without the scare tactics used by the FDA, since big pharma is big pharma all over.

My daughter was hospitalized with rotavirus when she was 1. Scary stuff. She dehydrated so quickly that she lost over a pound between a late morning doctor visit and the trip to the ER that evening. (A lot when you only weigh about 20 to start)

A few months later a vaccine came out - this one made some children sick.

'oops' yes, but not really funny. These injections are being given to infants. Hopefully the virus found in Rotarix really is harmless.

I don't want anymore of the industries vaccinations. None.

Everywhere you turn- OOPS.

I never got the h1n1 shot. Millions were supposed to die.

I happen to know people who will not get their children vaccinated because they are afraid of Autism.

When thousand of children start dieing of measles and such we can send them all to hunky. He will understand.

I did not force anyone to get a toxic h1n1 shot. In fact- I posted against getting the jab.

Nor did I push this poison either.

I had to get my MMR updated in '91 before going off to engineering school - the year before there was a measles outbreak due to students that didn't get the MMR vaccine when they were kids.

(I wonder if the guys realized what could happen to them if they got mumps as adults.)

The problem with you not getting a vaccine is minor. The problem with many people not getting vaccines is major. When the majority of people are vaccinated against polio for example, then the few non vaccinated are not at risk because the herd does not carry the illness. When the number of vaccinated goes down, that's when epidemics hit.

In addition, if you aren't vaccinated or don't vaccinate your children, then you must tell all others who you come into contact with this. Otherwise when you do get whooping cough, and that's likely, you will visit an elderly relative during the period prior to symptoms when you are most infectious, and they will die from it. As will anyone who is on chemo or immune system depressants such as transplants or those suffering from auto immune disorders.

You want to kill yourself or wind up in an iron lung, go for it. But killing others because you can't be bothered to warn them is inexcusable. Of course, since pa doesn't believe in vaccinations, he won't mind when his grandmother is exposed, contracts it and dies. Or will he?

...well on that.. I am living on bonus time. My dad, and his dad - passed away at age 42. So anything after 42 is bonus for the males in my immediate family.

I am 4 years past it. :-)

Each day is a gift to me. I try to treasure it.

With any luck- I have more my maternal genes- which in them is longevity. We shall see.
