?? did you mean 'in'?

uhh ya, every state, and city/district board has their own different cirruculum., of course. They vary, but very little. Same as Canada.

*edit: ahh ok, I see you are Dutch.

omg SweetDommes, you are sooo cute hahaha.

I think? I am the same way, but I don't recall any talk. lol. I think I learned in at school in 10th grade? lol All we did was giggle. I think there was a condom involved LMAO. I didn't pay attention (obviously).

WOW @ the fourth grade thing? wtf. but ok, you are under 30, k makes more sense. lol.

Hell, don't feel bad about not knowin' about what parts go where, I didn't know until the drive-in and the pinto was invented LOL.

As for bleedin, oh my, even funnier. I don't recall if it was even time or before or after, I just didn't pay much attention lol. Back in the day, all I recall is my mom tossed me the pamphlet from the KOTEX box titled "You're a young lady now". I think it was 4th-hand from my sisters (found it here: http://www.mum.org/youreay1.htm) LOLOL

I don't recall even caring except I didn't care much and barely glanced at it except to think 'this is LAME' and I went off to go do something else outside. That was my sex-ed. lol. I do recall my bestest gf/neighbor called me on the phone to come over because she wanted to show me her first ever pubie. LOL. We laughed our asses off so much that she ended up plucking it out.

sigh, ahhh the good ol' days. Can't go back, except in our clean lil minds.

I wouldn't want to go back. I was so oversheltered ... I was not prepared for what I was facing when I went away to college. My parents did me a great disservice in how they dealt with it. And the parents who wouldn't allow any kind of real sex education in the schools did me (and their children) a great disservice as well. I had no clue how to use a condom until I was in college (wasn't covered even in my 10th grade health class - when most of my classmates were already sexually active). We had one of the highest teen pregnancy rates in the state at the time. That's just insane! They talked about all the horrible things that could happen from sex, rather than approaching it in an adult, mature, and truly educational way. They could have done a lot more good by telling us about STDs and how to actually prevent them instead of just warning us that they are out there. Vague references to things like "heavy petting" were made, but then there was no explination of what the hell that actually entailed and what made it different from "sex".

When I said it was pathetic, I meant it. It was completely useless. Please do not, in any way, think that I'm advocating that bullshit. Because that's exactly what it was.

lol you are sooo right. I also didn't have a clue. I don't think I even saw a condom until I was divorced lol. Yet, if asked, I doubt I would know how to shove on on in a pinch (oops didn't mean pinch boyzzz). lol

Think you were naive? ha.. At around 9, I was in a tent with two older boys playing CLUE lol one of them pulled out a playboy from under a pillow.

They opened it to the centerfold and said 'you got one of these'. I said "I DO NOT!!' lollllllll They insisted, till I ran home crying.

When I got home, I checked...omg voila, they were right. I DO HAVE ONE OF THOSE.

I couldn't face those neighborhood boys for over 8 months. Ruined my summer of playing football and most of hockey season LOL.

*I still got one of dozeeeee
