I'm in the middle of this mid Atlantic blizzard. I bet there is at least two feet of snow out there and still snowing with no sign of letting up. It's so high, I can't open my storm doors to get out. Lot's of people in this area have lost power, over 200,000. I feel so fortunate not to have lost it thus far. I'm not a big planner, but it's times like these that lead the spontaneous and unplanned to think ahead. Yesterday, when all this started, I cooked a bunch of food so I'd have something even if it was cold. I pulled my car down near the street so I wouldn't have to shovel so much just to get out of here, whenever that's possible. I look at the window and it's a near blinding sea of stark white, growing and increasingly obscuring everything so that it becomes even more dominant and monolithic and overwhelming. Anyone else out there stuck in all this? If so, how are you coping? What's it like where you are?
