I don't talk about my exes unless i'm asked. Even then, I only give the most relevant information needed. I'm not with them anymore, I'm not getting into the stories. We all have a past. I'm only concerned about the here and now.

I don't really give two squirts about the exes...(Unless she has some sort of a psycho ex that might kill me) But I do enjoy hearing stories about some events that have transpired in someone's past. It is afterall what has helped them to arrive to this point in time.

I have remained friends with a couple of ex's that I had serious relationships with. Master is not one to ask questions about them but if something comes up such as going somewhere I might mention that I had already been there with x y or z. In fact Master has even spoken to one of them a few times as they are both interested in cars. Next time we are all in the same area we intend to meet for a drink.

I knew a little about his past when we first started to chat. Obviously the one of the first things you ask when starting out is if they are single. So right at the start I knew he was a widower. As time has gone he has talked about her a little more and has shown me a picture (one of only 2 occassions I have seen him cry, the other when he was told of my brain tumour).

The longer we are together the more things come up and talked about. We have never hidden anything from each other but on the other hand the past is not constantly dragged up.
