Oh my goodness YES!!!!!

I met my first Dominant and submissive friends through Collarme.  Because of them I was able to find and attend my very first munch.  Through them I met other lifestylers, went to more munches, and tasted the talents of several Dominants.  I did not meet Gary through this site, however, he is a member here.  Since we lived 700 miles apart we never considered writing to one another.  We ended up meeting at a week long kinky campout with 150 other people there.  I have met quite a few people from Collarme over the years.  Almost every single one of them (except for one rare exception) was exactly who and what they said they were.  Some have become good friends over the years. 

I'd give Collarme an A+ for being a great web site for information and an excellent site for meeting people.

It is actually annoying. On a daily basis, I get at least 5 guys whose first email to me is some version of "Hey SexyRed, any luck here?". Now what am I supposed to tell them? No, thank GOD you showed up?

I think it is a dumb question. If anyone reads the boards there are tons of testimonials of people who have had luck in meeting their special partner(s). Some even find their ONE weekly.

If I met the Dom of my dreams, I would put in my profile, Taken, just here for the boards, or some other wording.

I met alot of guys from here, some ok, some bad, some indifferent. Two really fun situations. And lots of acquaintances.

Do I think I will meet my soulmate here? Uh...not really, but I try to have fun here and stopped concentrating on that.

I met my fuckdoll through this site. Our relationship is young but it is one of devotion and intense passion. I had my doubts until meeting her. For those who have not found what they seek, keep your head up. IT will happen.

I've also interacted with some pretty cool people and made some pseudo-friends.

Depends on what you mean by "luck". When I joined, I was looking for like minded folks to chat with and maybe meet up/ hang out with. Through the boards, I have met some very close real life friends, lots of friends I can't wait to meet in real, and even a co-worker (we met here and I recommended him to my boss for an open position). I also met my first Dominant on the other side. It didn't work out, but fun was certainly had [:D]

As many others have said, what you get out of CM depends on what you put into it. I recently started a thread in PRS, asking folks how many people from this site they have met. The response was awesome; the thread went on for 8 pages. For those grumbling about there being nothing but fakes here blah blah blah... maybe look at what these folks are doing that you aren't, because the problem certainly isn't the site

Depends upon your definition of luck. Under a previous "sub seeking" profile i got to chat to a number of interesting people, and gained a great deal of knowledge. Under both profiles I've had the pleasure of browsing the boards, taking that in which is applicable, and leaving the rest. (Sometimes it's helpful to be reminded you are not the only nice, normal , sane person with a real life who happens to like the dark side).

Patience is truely a virtue; I spent a year floating around before meeting my top ( from my top and bottom days) on of all places- craigslist. Another 2 years after Uncle Sam moved him far far away before moving into a Dom/sub relationship - yep, craigslist again. Meanwhile i talked to a lot of toads along the way. Don't be in a rush- the wait can be well worth it.

(As for the poster who complained about women not answering their emails- now, if you live 1000 miles from me and only want naked pictures and dirty phone sex while claiming to "own" me, ummm, nope . Maybe try hitting up women closer to home? I also understand that invitations to serve by herding goats or being roasted alive don't go over well either).
