i did read about people that came here and found their life partner .
for myself i am here for friendship only, and i met very special people who i talk with on a regular basis . They are intelligent, truthful, honnest , interested in what i have to say.

I came back to this site about 3 and a half years ago after my last relationship ended. I met a couple of men, who just weren't right for me for one reason or another. Then I found the man of my dreams. Well, actually he found me. I still feel lucky.

Well out of the years I've had a profile here, I've only talked to a few people, only a couple that became friends... But at the same time I don't tend to actively seek out other people (in general; mostly due to shyness) -- So while a couple messages from random people every few months isn't what you might call "having any luck with this site," I would say it's better than no messages ever. =)

OP, as others have said it is not so much luck as work and what you put into it. I have been on this site for over 4 years now (second profile) and in that time, through being on this site, I found my local "bdsm community" and have made some wonderful friends, met several people from here and have had  all around good and positive results.

Have I found my so called "One"? No, and I'm not looking either, but as others have said, they have found their partners through here and are happy, so it is possible. Just joining won't do it. Mass mailings won't do it either, but putting an honest effort in and networking and getting out there can. Up to you to do the work if you really want it bad enough.

I am a firm believer in co-creating my reality, so luck has nothing to do with it. 2nd Sir was from CM and my present Sir i met in an AOL chat room 2 and half years ago. He gave me a list of links on BDSM and suggested i start reading the message boards. Best advice that I got back then. I have discovered there are all types of people here, and glad that some are my friends. Ironically the Sir who told me about these boards is my my Sir now, and he has reopen his cm account.

CM is what you make it, seriously it comes back to you. For me it has been a great experience.

Absolutely. I'll give the guys hope: I've had several good play dates through here, and found one boy and will know on the 15th if I found a second. (grin) My third I knew already and did a "OMG you're into this TOO?!" moment with at a local munch.  (Sorry, three subs and a husband is my limit, guys.) So it's absolutely possible to meet women. Just don't be an asshole, and you'll be ten miles ahead of the majority.
