Hello mrdpettigrew Thank you for you post. Though i am in my late 50's i am relatively new to BDSM, however what you brought up I have often wonder about. Though not in this lifestyle, i have been in another that was and still is not really accepted-a witch. Since my mid 20's i have been a practicing witch, and then it was not something widely excepted. Then the internet came and many wanted to be witches..oh well. What i saw was they wanted the spells but didnt really live it as a religion. Because of my experience in observing this, it has come to my mind can this be true here in bdsm., since some call it not a lifestyle, while others say it is. i personally came to look at a D/s or M/s relationship more then just the kink. I would be curious to see the posts on your thread, because this has interested me since i started BDSM 3 years ago. Looking back at my life in 'vanilla realm' i can see my late husband were D/s. or perhaps M/s minus the kink. We follow a lot of the bases of the older households, of the Victorian era. I was his to the end of his life. What he said stood as the foundation of our marriage. Again, thank you for your post, wisdomtogive
