Status: offline 		Disagree....I have no trouble whatsoever being a woman in a phallocentric world...assuming that's what it is. I just keep on keeping on and life continues "shrugs". I suspect that many who claim to be held back aren't trying all that hard.

While this may be an unpopular view... I think that continuing to view the world as phallocentric creates more chances for the world to be phallocentric.

Obviously things are more complicated with you dealing with the cultural traditions and the nitty-gritty of every day life but that is my overall view. Take or leave.
