Disagree....I have no trouble whatsoever being a woman in a phallocentric world...assuming that's what it is. I just keep on keeping on and life continues "shrugs". I suspect that many who claim to be held back aren't trying all that hard.

I think that continuing to view the world as phallocentric creates more chances for the world to be phallocentric. Obviously things are more complicated with you dealing with the cultural traditions and the nitty-gritty of every day life but that is my overall view. Take or leave.

Actually.....a highly intelligent well known and respected man is most worried that men are turning into women...of ALL the things he could possibly worry about... so I decided to believe him and soon we'll be livin in a gynocentric world..... but....to cut the crap I have never felt I lived in a phallocentric world
