Could your headache been caused by smelling the cleaning solutions? I don't know what you use to clean with....

I get migraines and if your headache was one sided that is a migraine. If around the neck area it was a tension headache. Getting a Dr. to check you out would be a good thing.

If you get migraines stay away from caffeine, red wine, cheese and anything else that could trigger a migraine.

Hope you feel better!

As point of clarification, I wasn't looking to relieve the headache with the drink. I was just looking to enjoy one at the end of the day. I was concerned that either through drug interactions or due to the condition itself (whatever that might be), I could cause myself problems by consuming alcohol. Yesterday was as very laid back day aside from cleaning my house. I didn't eat or drink anythin unusual. There have been no major environmental changes. The weather was cold and wet which was a change from the couple days prior, but we are back to normal today and this mess still lingers. No jaw clenching I am aware of and my blood pressure always runs slightly below normal, but is normal for me and is not elevated either for me or for a "normal" human being. I didn't consume in excessive carbs, etc. I didn't have the drink and now can't tonight. Looong story. Who knows? It is probably just another example of my body's wackiness.

i get the headaches from hell when a warm and dry spell is followed by rain and then by dry again...mold lingers in that dampness. sudafed with a cup of coffee and an extra strength tylenol will kick that out of me in less than thirty minutes. also, if you don't want to start taking an allergy medication, a warm heating pad on your face and head, or a hot and steamy shower/bubble bath is very beneficial! so take that bath and have that drink and feel better after-wards! no harm, no foul.

Thank you for all the input. I didn't have that drink, the headache still lingers...2 days later. It is a little less intense, but still making itself known. I continue to try all the many headache remedies I have learned and am learning along the way. I don't have an appt with my headache specialist for another few weeks, but I will mention it then. I normally do go to the ER if I have to, but I think they are starting to think I am just wanting drugs. I don't even like the feeling that those kinds of meds give me. I just want the headache broken. It's not extreme anymore, so I will just be waiting on it to resolve eventually. Thanks!

You shouldn't drink and drive. You might spill

My doctor told me "only one beer a day" so now i only buy those gallon cans.

What do women need money for? They don't have to spend it on the most important things in life. They shouldn't drink. They shouldn't smoke and for women, what the heck that they are them selves

You can enjoy a party without alcohol, but the result is also according to it

I found the root cause of my headaches. I divorced her

The worst thing about not drinking. When you wake up in the morning, you know that's the best your'e going to feel all day.
