Makes no difference, I called the police # afterwards and they too said I have to go in person. So I did, filled out a report and the policeman said flat out that no investigation will be made. Oh and I don't have insurance.

I didn't think they would actually investigate but your apt complex may or even you can let people know what happened so they are aware of this is occuring. However, say this guy makes a habit of this and the next person also makes a police report -- it may just become a problem enough where this guy can be caught, same with your apt complex and if he is caught, the police have your report on file they may be able to connect and many times restitution is part of sentences in the criminal circuit.

As an aside, you really should think about renter's insurance, its pretty inexpensive but can help in situations. I would still take pictures and itemize everything for yourself in cause you do come across proof this guy did it, and you take him into small claims Court, it will be easier to prove your damages against him.

What i said about 911 was simply for any time you need the police -- 911 is for life threatening emergencies, anything outside of that like you come home and your house has been broken into etc you should call the main, non-emergency number.

wow I can not beleave some one would do that to you zephy that's insane I have lived in apartments and done laundry at 2 am because some one hogged the machines all day but its life in an apartment

I admit I feel really bad for Zephyrofthenorth as I would be upset about what that man did for a mucho long time.

I admit my Dominant kidnapped me last night after we had a nice dinner and I was worried about our kitty cat at my place all night alone as she has never spent a night alone in her life as far as I know since we adopted her..but she was okay...and me without any possessions I usually take to his place each weekend was a bit hard too but I survived.

I admit I see he was trying to get me to be more spontaneous and it was a good thing after all.

I admit I thought Dr who was stupid when I first saw an episode of it, but that it grew on me after a few episodes.

OMG sorry to hear this Zeph...do you have a possibility to maybe try another police station to see what they say? Only saying in case that person informed you wrong (met many like that over here) or alternatively get advice from someone else to double check if that is correct that they don't bother about it?

When I was mugged in 2005 as a pro sub the police could not be bothered either over here... as there is often the saying it would be illegal...which...isn't the case...it's illegal to live off others as a pimp. but not you on your own...but despite that I knew who it was and they could have had all his details they did not care...after all I was still alive, they might have been bothered if that wouldn't have been the case...

so just saying that it might be worth to double check if that information is correct or not...

apart from that sorry that this happened...I also dont understand what leads to that...on the other hand to be fair, it could also have been someone else (in case there are living several parties which is my impression) because what if someone else came down there after you left and might have been annoyed about not having access to a washing maschine?

Or that guy might have met someone else who was on the way to there and told that other person that both are already in use from one person following which another person might have gotten annoyed about it...so just saying that whilst it is likely that it was that person, that it could also have been someone else who was the meany...maybe someone who wanted to go out and realised now not to get the clothes ready he or she wanted to use....sorry, just trying to show alternatives.

but yes it should be made known to whoever runs that place in case it happens again...

by the way, probably unlikely (as it would be really stupid) but in case you didnt i would check if you find there somewhere an empty bleach bottle...reg. fingerprint or so...of course, would be foolish, and still wouldn't proof that this is linked to it, but heck, things like that happens....

This isn't true in all areas.  I tried to call the main number a couple of times to report a car theft & an attempted break in & I was told both times to call 911.

I admit I was relieved that my Master's plans for our time together tonight fell through, as I did not particularly want to do what he was asking of me.

I admit I am also bummed as this meant we did not get time together and I am instead wasting time on the internet.
