I agree that was uncalled for. Honestly if it was me I would probably be pissed that you were hogging both machines but I would never say anything or throw bleach on your clothes.

Poor Zephy!!!!  This is why I don't much like humans.  I don't understand their behaviors.  I have been attemmpting to study them for decades now, but I still just don't get it!!!!!

Call the police anyway, and your apt complex manager -- make reports even if you don't know who did it, your renter's insurance may need it. I would check to see if your renter's insurance may cover it.

Also, make sure the apt complex knows because if he did this so easily he may have done it before, and the apt can let people know to be on the look out for their laundry and not leave it alone.

Unless there is a witness or the guy admits it, they won't have an arrest, but if there is a report, and others make a report then it becomes a bigger issue they may actually investigate -- they being the cops or the apt complex -- clothes aren't cheap. Be sure to list every ruined article as well as what you paid for it if you can or what you deem to be the value of same. Also, take pictures of the ruin clothes.

If you ever have proof or such, you may be able to take him to small claims court for reimbursement of the amount of the damage.

Okay, I called 911 and they said that since I have an idea who might have done it that I need to go and file a report directly at the Police Station. It's quite a distance so I guess I'd better get going. *sigh*

I admit that I will be in austin for 2 nights in May to take care of some disability business.

I admit I went ahead and ordered the bus tickets for the first weekend in Dallas.

I admit that Bo does not want Lizard to be red-shirted, but we cannot afford the summer school costs. It will only teach her one course, not like JH school summer school.

I admit that I will have to talk to her VP about her being red-shirted.

I admit that I need a stiff drink right now...

grins, umm next time don't call 911 lol. Just call the main police number. This isn't a life threatening emergency. But in situations like this -- making a report always helps especially if you will be making a claim to your renter's insurance.

Just one more reason why I refuse to live in a place that doesn't have washers in the individual units if it ever came down to living in an apartment.
