I have enjoyed all the posts regarding hair punishment/ cutting. I have a different view point. I personally enjoy the control of her hair. I do not allow her hair to be down below her collar. She has very long hair, lower back, but it has to be kept up until i allow her to take it down, or i do it. Buns, and up styles are the rule. I will on ocasion allow her to wear it down, as reward for behavior. I enjoy having people ask her how long her hair really is. Hair should be fun, and she realizes that pleaseing me will also be in her benifit. Just some thoughts.

Oh man if someone decided to cut my hair as punishment I would go on a fucking rampage. That's way out of bounds.

If it works for you and yours that's great. I probably wouldn't get into a relationship where the dominant sought to control my hair.

Er um... if anyone has any extra, i could use some of it. I dunno. I turned around one day and most of it was gone :)

I kind of like that take on the hair thing. I would freak out if Master told me to cut it off (which he would never do, he's awfully fond of it). But just requiring her to keep it out of the way unless otherwise instructed is a really very small thing that exhibits a lot of dominance. Kinda sexy, if you ask me... ;-)

Wouldn't work for me. I always have to wear my hear down and long at work because I have a tattoo behind my ear. When my hair is up or short the tattoo shows and that's a huge no-no at work, enough to get me fired. So while if he wanted me to wear it up or short I would but I hope he would be prepared to find me another job or pay my living expenses. LOL

So, it seems to me that it would work, with anyone who remembers their time in the military fondly.... Not so much, if they don't. And anyone still on active duty in the military would probably make it a hard limit for anyone to have any control of their hair in such a mannner, because they hafta keep it up all the duty day just like that anyway. So it'd probably really piss them off if you had a problem with them taking it down the minute they're done with the long day's work. Just sayin'...

I've actually been thinking about this more and I think it could work under at least one very specific (and intentionally prohibitively ridiculous) circumstance. I would let a switch girl tie me down and cut my hair... so long as she was prepared to be continuously hogtied from that point in time until however long it took for my hair to grow back to the length it was prior to her touching it. How many inches does hair grow in a month? If she would agree to that she could have at it.

I have been punishing my hair recently... first we found out we had nits how embarrassing is that... so lots of combing with this very fine comb to get them (and a lot of hair) out... just to be sure we treated with the toxic shampoo aswell... that can't be good.... then the nits were gone but... i got a bit obsessed i think...paranoid about nits so i kept combing with the nit comb which really is doing my hair no good... so just yesterday to break the cycle i died my hair... this is the end of the nit picking and i have lushious new hair again... it still stinks a bit of the die though, but that will wear off today i hope. i always wear it tied... i can not stand stray hairs tickling my face and eyes, i even plait it when i go to bed My Husband sure would not like it if i were to go out of the house with my hair down... me neither i would feel like i look naked somehow.

To an extent Sir controls my hair and I dont really think about it. When I met him it was blonde, but his preference is red, so now it is red, he likes it long so I am growing it, although I would normally keep it just past my shoulders. He likes it out, so when we are out together it is out. Although I often tie it up for work because it is very thick and getting quite long. If I go to the hairdresser I have cleared with him what I am having done (although the time the hairdresser made it pink was a surprise to us both). But this has just become a way of life so much so I didnt think of it until control till I read this post

Doesn't she find that having it up all the time gives her headaches? Because I have very long hair and if it's all piled up, it does give me one. My hair is in a ponytail sometimes and down sometimes. I'm not willing to be in daylong pain when taking it out will ease it.

When we met my hair was VERY short and while he didn't demand that I grow it out, he did comment that he preferred long hair so it can be put in a ponytail & used as a handle.[:)]

I didn't realize that aspect of control until my second submissive cut her hair without telling me---in fairness, we'd never discussed control of her hair---just before she came to see me. I could still grip it but in order to do so I had to get so close to her scalp that it became painful and not in a good way. That was the last time she cut it that short while she was with me. Hmmmmmmmmmm...now with some of the stuff mentioned on here, I will have to give some other aspects of "hair control" some thought. I do know there are certain aspects of a woman's hair and styling that do bother me---the woman who wears her hair long and yet never does anything with it or the woman who wears her hair long and puts it up for work and down for after-work but never any "styling" to it or adornment of some sort. This bothers me when the woman in question tends to refer to her hair as her "crowning glory"---or something of the sort---and yet tends to just let it "be". The idea of punishing by threatening some sort of "changing of the hair"...that I am not sure of. As noted, I like hair long enough to pull and cutting it very short would remove that privilege from ME. And potty...or holly, if you are out there...watch the comments about balding.[&:]
