Fast Reply Over the years I put up with my share of loud talking, seat kicking, and people having sex without inviting me, in the movie theaters. But my biggest complaint is the theaters, themselves. For the last 15 years or so I have only gone to theaters under duress because they have all gotten to the point of playing the audio WAY too loud. The last few times I have gone I've taken ear protection simply so I won't have a headache when I leave. We do still have a drive in near here, but all in all I would still rather just wait until a movie comes out on DVD and either rent or buy it so I can play it at home, dress (or undress) however I want, set the volume how I like it, stop the movie to go to the bathroom and not miss any of it, have reasonably priced popcorn and soda, etc and etc. It's simply a better situation all the way around.
