MasterJeff68 -> Death of a Master (9/9/2009 5:04:51 AM)

I have a question for all the doms and dommes out there, did you know there is a serious disease out there killing all the masters? So far there have been 10 masters killed this year as been told to me by 10 subs. So watch out, you could be next. Or could your wallet be next, I always get that mixed up.
Also does this piss you off as much as it does me, you contact someone or they contact you and they dont even live in the us or that state? I dont know about you, but honesty is a big part of a relationship and starting out with a lie just doesnt do it for me.

TurboJugend -> RE: Death of a Master (9/9/2009 5:06:57 AM)

LadySweetOrSour -> RE: Death of a Master (9/9/2009 5:09:56 AM)

Nope, didn't notice that, but I am a switch, so maybe I am safe

Not sure why you would contact someone out of state and then be pissed. If you don't want someone out of state, then don't contact anyone out of state. As for them contacting me, no it doesn't piss me off. I just ignore them.

Since death is not something I wish to dwell on with my morning coffee I will leave that one for others to answer. As far as being contacted by people form other states or countries, I have no problem with it because friendships are not required to be local.

DarkSteven -> RE: Death of a Master (9/9/2009 5:52:30 AM)

Welcome to collarme, Jeff.  As you have noted, there are all sorts here.  If they're not real or are liars, I simply move on.

IronBear -> RE: Death of a Master (9/9/2009 7:14:43 AM)

I wonder if this is a USA thing. Mind you a small selection of people (10 in fact) is hardly a good basis for any serious in-depth discussion or panic especially if, as I understand the OP, the ten sub/slaves told him rather than him selecting them randomly. I'd wager that given time and allowing for the small BDSM population here in Australia, I could also eventually come up with perhaps ten sub/slaves who have had or know of Masters becoming dead. After all we all have the prognosis of death at some stage of our illustrious lives. Stands to reason that once we are born abd start living we also start to die slowly. Since every time I am hospitalized with something like 12/24 hours to live I get rejected from Heaven and hell I'll not worry too much.

better watch out on those dominate days! could be a doozie. [8D]

allthatjaz -> RE: Death of a Master (9/9/2009 7:43:25 AM)

I have to admit that I have met a worrying amount of male subs that had a Mistress that died.
I had one particular male sub for two years (part time) who told me the sad tale of how his previous Mistress, who he was devoted to, suddenly died. Funny because two years down the line I met the dead woman at a munch!
I consequently sent him a text message telling him the good news and guess what? He wasn't at all happy.

masterlink65 -> RE: Death of a Master (9/9/2009 7:57:29 AM)

why do i care where a relocatable slave is located? as long as it is actually able to relocate.

OP
there is a lot of that within the realms of this lifestyle online.

if i die before my slave,, it knows where to seek another master to suit its needs, and its not here. but anyway, get used to it. a lot of times these pre-owned slaves as they say, are sometimes just a bottom trying to be a sub, or trying to join in on the glamorous lifestyle of the master/slave world.

my experience online having a pre-owned slave come to visit for interview, is that they say they have several years experience as an owned slave, or training of some degree, but they never seem to be what they say they are.

i do know of a master/slave situation where the master is signicantly older than his slave. so the master has arranged for his slave to be "willed off" to another master.

after my motorcycle accident in june, i have seriously been thinking of this more and more. i need to find a proper place for my slave if should happen to pass before it does, so it does not have to look online.

AnimusRex -> RE: Death of a Master (9/9/2009 8:17:39 AM)

For those who are not familiar with the scam, here is the first verse:

"Hello I am slave and want Master but good Master I am not looking for liers and fakes I come from UK but now in New York bcos Master died of cancer of the blood and I relocate to mid-texas where I wait for good Master please Master I enjoy piss and blood and will serve Master always come contact me Master my email is scamslave09@yaaho dot com hit me up me so horny"

Look for a picture clipped from a magazine, convoluted history, English as a second language, and for some reason, use of "bcos". I suspect the later verses will include the desperate need for cash for plane fare, bribes, whatever.

Every one of these is actually some Nigerian guy sitting in an internet cafe in Lagos.
I normally just ignore them- but if someone really feels the need to respond to one, here is my suggestion:

"hello I am Thurston Howell III a rich american lonely bcos wife got stranded on desert island with sailors and professor and now looks for slave to share my riches please slave come to me and live in beverly hills i give you all my money except i sent it to help corrupt Nigerian official smuggle billions out of country and now wait for him to send it to me."

UKEvolutionary -> RE: Death of a Master (9/9/2009 8:47:14 AM)

Just as with so much to do with the internet, "Spam" gets EVERYWHERE !! lol
Another thing that "tickles Me" is the fact that they haven't even bothered to look at your profile, and yet they "say" that they are the "sub for you" !! I even had one say that they would be a perfect mistress for Me !! errrr, read !!! I'm a Dominant !!
And yess thee speling of wurds do poot Me of ov the prsun who speek purfct english !!! lol but hey, those that can't see through these "obvious" cons maybe shouldn't profess to be a Dom/me or sub at all !!
Just My $0.02 worth !! lol

Lockit -> RE: Death of a Master (9/9/2009 9:46:02 AM)

While there are many scams out there and many use the dominant has died angle, some of these people who are saying their dominant died, are telling the truth. The obvious scammer's are not who I am talking about.

Everyone dies at some point and it isn't far fetched to believe someone died, so we need to make sure we aren't judging all who claim this as a scammer and are paying attention to other details. Although it isn't far fetched to believe that someone had a dominant that died, it isn't in their best interest to announce that very quickly for a number of reasons. One is that scammers often use this, but also because someone might think that the person is still mourning over their dominant and haven't moved on or that they will compare a new dominant to the former.

I do believe the chances are that my submissive will one day have to face that I have died and I will be sure to impress him with the fact that it isn't a good idea to annouce that right away, but will hope that if he does, he isn't seen as a scammer. Death does happen! lol

Arpig -> RE: Death of a Master (9/9/2009 10:08:40 AM)

Just what are you complaining about...that masters are dying,or that people live in a different state from you?

That's not bad, but not nearly good enough to actually cause them some distress.  My suggestion would be as follows:

"Hello, and thank you for your email.  My name is Thurston Howell III.  Like you, I had a slave that served me for many years, but unfortunately died last year.  It's been difficult, to say the least, but I know I must move on, as she made me promise to not close myself off following her death, and to open my heart to another slave.  I do not openly share this with most, as many here simply cannot be trusted... but in all honestly, I am what many would consider very wealthy (several homes, cars, and a generous bank account), and am CEO of a large, Fortune 500 Corporation. However, I am also very serious in finding that special slave to open my heart and my life too... one that will PROVE herself worthy.  And one that I will take care of, financially, for the rest of her life.

As such, if you are truly serious about becoming my slave, then as a test, I require you to do the following to PROVE you are ready to be owned.

1.  Obtain a copy of the Bible (I choose this because it's easy to find a copy)

2.  BY HAND (not by computer), copy the entire Book of Psalms. (FYI... it's the longest Book of the Bible)

3.  Email me daily updates as to how many pages you have copied by hand. (This keeps them active/involved)

4.  When finished, scan all the pages you've HAND-WRITTEN and email to me at MyEmailAddressAtWhatever.com so I can check the accuracy of your work and to see how well you've obeyed.

If you complete this task, then and ONLY then will we discuss moving you into my home;  which of course I will pay all expenses to move you to me, along with any other travel expenses or any other money you may need before moving to become my slave.

This is your test.... so it's up to YOU whether or not you pass or fail this ONE test to prove you are serious and real."

If they're dumb enough to actually do this, then after they've emailed the scanned pages of their work, wait a couple days, then send a return email  stating the following:

"Hello... I'm not sure of the intent of your email, but I am "so and so's" brother.  It is with deep regret that I must inform you that he DIED last night.  My best wishes, and please pray for us during this difficult time."

[sm=rofl.gif]LOL!!!

Whilst I agree that death if very plausible, I also feel its something that should (if it really happened) be kept close to the heart (like you said) until you get to know someone fairly well. Early death is very tragic and highly personal when its someone close and by declaring it to a world of strangers somehow cheapens it. Imagine if it really did happen but you were disbelieved? but then why would you tell someone you have only spoken to for two minutes or perhaps not spoken at all other than an initial letter, that your Master/Mistress had died other than to gain sympathy.
Of course people are skeptical. They hear this a lot and who do they believe or disbelieve?
Like you, if something was to happen to me I sincerely hope that Stephen wouldn't announce it to would be new women on sites such as this. If he did then I would be looking down on him (unless of course I go to hell) and laughing at the reaction he got.

I think they're calling it "death" nowadays.

Lockit -> RE: Death of a Master (9/9/2009 11:47:39 AM)

allthatjazz... I agree with you very much! I guess I have had to think about this a lot and prepare and have thought of different ways of doing that, but had no actual plan. I know that even though we know it could happen... it actually happening can be a shock and difficult to get through. I know at some point someone in pain will sometimes lash out or need attention or will only be able to think about the loss and could reach out to other's for whatever need might be consuming at the moment. But I would hope that didn't happen and was kept close with someone that we asked to be there or with friends.

I didn't think of it the way you put it and the way you presented your feelings on it is very beautiful. I think I would want it just the way you said it too. I surely would want him to be strong and not presenting that needy or lost. It is actually a goal I have with anyone I am involved with... to prepare them as much as I can for what could happen and for support systems because although I would wish to be remembered and missed... I wouldn't want him to suffer.

i always get a chuckle from the one that said he lost his submissive in a tsunami. even if this were true, it is so far out in left field i'd probably refrain from saying it myself.

sublace -> RE: Death of a Master (9/9/2009 11:54:21 AM)

Tops' Disease?

Being willed to another in case of a master's demise isn't the worst idea i ever heard, either. I am serious about that.
