You didn't have to tell him, you know

Gwen apparently came out of the den today after Holly cleaned the litter box ... and left a pile of stink that would have been normal for my dog (who is at least 3 times Gwen's size). Holly said she gagged and removed it before I got home from work LOL

She's currently fussing at me because I keep pulling out the tiny little babies (and yes, they are small, even for newborn kittens) to check them and her.

Well, Mystic, your beebees are just making sure that you're not overeating......gotta keep the svelte figure!

Well, you know, that sounds much nicer than "pfffft...you're SUCH a sucker!!"  (I can say that, cuz I'm one too!  Totally dominated by my kittehs!

Well, if the babies are trying to make sure I'm not overeating, they're not doing a very good job of it. They beg for my lean chicken, which is a healthy food, yet do nothing when I eat pizza, doughnuts, cake, etc.

I will admit to beng a sucker. When they stare at me with those pleading eyes, I feel guilty and can't enjoy my meal and end up giving them some tidbits. They mainly seem to do it with protein-based foods and will let me eat junk food in peace, LOL.

One thing that discourages Misty is when I put some type of exotic sauce or glaze on poulty, fish, or meat. That's a real turn-off for her. Not necessarily for Angel, though.

lol, so did mine Me checking on the little ones might have been the reason why she started to hide them every day at a new place for 7-10 days once they were 7 days old Wasn't my most joyful activity searching every day after work where she has hidden them this time as summer wasn't always that smart in choosing her hiding places, with once jumping with them 6foot high into my wardrobe...which of course could have ended fatal if one of them would have fallen down that height

Misty realized that the position of "office pest" has been vacant since Lily passed away, so she has decided to fill it. Was in my office pestering me all day long, LOL.

Angel was outside most of the day and has now come in to take a nap. I guess chasing the neighbor's cats wore her out.

Mine are in various stages of pouting......I was down talking to my neighbor and playing with Sugar, her puppy, and had left the door propped open cuz 2 of my strays were here eating.  KB was the first one out, and he actually came downstairs, and Sugar was thrilled to death...all the other kittehs run like hell when she comes after them.  She'd never hurt them. but they aren't hanging out to find out!  Anyway, KB was just calmly eating grass while Sug jumped around him trying to get him to play.  The Boo peeked over the steps, and then Squeaks.....no Smooch, I'm not sure why.  He's the one who had his Arizona adventure, and always tries to run out.

So, Sugar goes back in...reluctantly....OK she had to be dragged in....and I get KB and put him in....but Boo is still outside and I ended up having to hunt him down out of the bushes.  Then I see that I didn't completely close the door, and KB yanked it open and is now loose.....I chase him all around the garage, now THAT'S always fun...NOT!  I finally put the habeus grabbus on him, and everyone's inside.  I guess I'll have to get their leashes out and start taking them outside again.  At least when I get moved, we'll have a yard that I can maybe set up some sort of "cage" for them to safely stay outside.

Misty gave me and Angel the cold shoulder for 24 hours because Angel came up on the bed and watched TV with me last night. She thinks the bed is HER terrirory and Angel should not be up there. I was also to blame because I allowed it. However, I redeemed myself tonight by giving her a few tidbits of my Wendy's grilled chicken sandwich and now she's my buddy again

Well, Gwen is doing quite well, as are the kittens. Grendel is currently off pouting somewhere because he's not allowed in my bedroom right now. MIA ... well ... I think she went back outside after giving me dirty looks earlier for taking so long to get home (she waits outside the garage door for me to let her in).

Angel was a very bad girl. Not only did she cross the street, but the guy across the street left his garage door open about 6", so she of course had to go snooping around in his garage. I was standing outside at his garage door yelling at her to get out. She finally came out after about 10 or 15 minutes. Fortunately, I don't think he was home.

though glad she crossed the street safely.

spicy recently also crossed the road where he was lucky that the person gave attention to the road and stopped for him in his car...

Have seen once as a kid how my cat was run over don't really need a repeating of that

Mine are fine, summer is currently more in being into me mode again, which means she doesnt ignore me as much as usual and headbutts me to tell me to give her tlc...I am really wondering how many little ones she is carrying...getting a lil bit worried by now when I see the ball she is carrying around

Anyhow, all are doing fine.

Sounds like Angel needs to be grounded, Mom!  Crossing the street is a big no-go!  I'm going to have to be very careful that my 3 don't follow me across when I move.  It's a small back street, but people come thru here like it's the interstate!

Smooch has some wild hair up his ass.....for the last couple of days he's been attacking Squeaks.....he got her this am on her little pink nose.  I now have a rolled up newspaper that I will use to beat his little butt!  However, Squeaks has defended herself, and the last time he was threatening her, she actually came back at him.  He's being such a little pissant!

I'm glad she crossed safely, too. She likes to walk me to the mail box, which is about 1/4 block away, but on the same side of the street and she usually never crosses. I guess the sight of that open garage door was too much for her curious nature. She's usually a homebody, except for her ventures into my left-side neighbor's yard to mess with his three cats, and onto my right-side neighbor's patio to beg for table scraps. Fortunately, those excursions don't involve crossing any streets.

The little black and gray outdoor cat, Dusty, that I fostered who later went to live with my neighbor I do worry about. On several occasions I have actually seen him lying in the street and would have hit him had I not noticed him. He blends in with the street and is hard to see. Each time, I honk at him and roll the window down and yell at him, but to no avail. I catch him doing the same thing again a few weeks later.

Thats always so cute when pepper gives a whacking with her front paw to any of the other cats...as much as she feels being intimidated from the boys when they force her to move or she is getting whacked she loves to lift her paw to whack the others in their face...its just hillarious how she does that, like a school mistress, sort off

Regarding cats and streets, sadly when Max got hit I can't blame the driver. He had the habbit to follow my brother and me to the bus stop and one morning he made the mistake to sit onto the road. I could not get him as I would have been hit myself and I hoped he would realise it on time and feared to confuse him if I shout at him...sadly he was run over by the car and whilst he run away from the street, he was lieing in the next road when I came back from school. So my hope that he might have been between the wheels and not get seriously hurt with running away, wasn't true. He was pitch black, so there you don't have much of a chance as a driver in the early morning when it is still dark everywhere.

Since then we made sure that no cat is following us to the bus stop area anymore. I had rescued him from not getting killed (he was born on a farm and the farm owner wanted to kill him, a practice which is sadly not that rare back home, my grandpa did that himself often to a friend of my grandma who did not fix her cat in the days before I was born) and took him on just 4 weeks old...but wasnt meant to be a long life for him, I think he didnt even reach 6 months of age.

Here I live at a main road but overall I am confident that my cats will be safe...at least apart from spicy with whom I am only to 90% confident...curry and pepper are very scared about cars, which of course is good. But once I move again I do hope to find a more quiet area...its just a pain to move with pets....

Brother M has a kitten now...8+ weeks old.

Baby M (2yo) can pick her up and hand over to any one just in case she needs a pat.  This kitten gnaws on my fingers and hands.  Then she climbs up to my neck and give me some kisses.  I let her down and suddenly she plays with my ankles.

I got to find Silkies old scratching board.
