Misty is meowing at me as I'm eating steamed broccoli....now I KNOW she doesn't want any of THAT, LOL!

Later...I also had some left-over macaroni and cheese and gave her a spoonful. Naturally, she licked all the cheese off and left the mac, as usual.

Angel came in from her morning outdoors and went over and rubbed Misty cheek-to-cheek....so cute!

Mine are prowling, hoping I'll give in and open the canned food....but it ain't happening.  They need the dry for their hairballs.  But they give me that "{sigh} if you won't feed us, then we'll have to gag this stuff down!" looks out of the corners of their eyes.  Good thing I don't guilt easily!  (much!)

Quigmeister is outside somewhere, pouting, because he really wanted to come inside this morning but not badly enough to run the dog gauntlet. Even though Sophie and Nala gave him the same pouncing outside as he would have gotten had he come inside. He isn't the brightest bulb in the pack.

awwwww....I just found Sissy's beebees!  She has one black one, one tortie, and one gray one.  I'm going to try to talk my neighbor into taking two, she said she wanted a black one, but maybe I can get her to take another.  It looks like someone's put down food for them, but they may not have been weaned yet.  I'll take some over under cover of darkness tonight.  I might be able to convince a woman at work to take the third one, she lost one of hers about 2 weeks ago, and was pretty torn up about it.  If I cam sneak 'em in, I'm going to take Sissy and Toby in.  At least get them spayed and neutered and shots, I'll convince my landlord they are my outdoor cats, and since htey will be fixed, maybe he'll leave them alone.  They are so cyoooooot...they were playing when I went over to see them, but took off when  I got close.  All that little fluff rolling aoround jumping on each other......awwwwwwww...just awwwwwwww!

Mine are wondering what is going on....summer was hiding all day long and gave me quite a scare "what if she doesnt get back on time"...thankfully in the evening I managed to catch her (after I had fallen down the fucking stairs from my back side as I forgot that damn loose step in their which of course today gave in

Now all are inside, at times were watching mum and me to do any final preparations with squeezing in anything more into the car...and just wait for the fate they are due in 4.5 hours

Misty is sitting atop the laundry which I have not put away yet. Angel just came in from outdoors and is chowing down. Guess chasing lizards all afternoon gave her an appetite.

Cat is on the counter top looking thru the back door at the yard. She is fascinated by it.   I think we have night life.

Boo was on top of the laundry piled, (really piled), on the dryer.....till it, and he, fell over!  Of course, I laughed at him......so he went off pouting.  Last night, Smooch rolled off the end table doing the "I stretch out here" thing.....and I laughed at him too.  He gave me the "I knew I was going to do that" look and stalked off, head and tail held high.

Squeaks has discovered that the sink in the bathroom is roomier than the sink in apt 3....she can stretch out just so.  I turned the water on earlier, and she didn't jump out in a panic, but just moved.....all while giving me the ebil kitteh look.  Last I checked, she was back in it.

Angel was on her way to the door to beg to go out, but caught a whiff of the salmon as I took it out of the oven and had a change of heart....

I like to say that there are 2 basic differences between cats & dogs:

1) If you tell a dog not to do something it really wants to do, it will wait til you're not looking & do it; when it's caught, it will look guilty. If you tell a cat not to do something it will do it right in front of you, nothing sneaky about them.

2) If a dog does something stupid & you laugh, the dog will do it again & again just to hear you laugh; if a cat does something stupid & you laugh, they will get pissed at you & possibly exact revenge later.

I only have one window that opens in this apartment & earlier both cats managed to lie down on the sill. I have no idea how they managed to fit, but they did. Twice. They are an endless source of delight & enjoyment for me.

For sure on a cat getting irked.

One time-  I was laying on my back- the cat washing and purring happiest cat in the world as she was laying on the top of my stomach.    I sneezed-  it was a loud one.   She looked at me - so very insulted that I sneezed.... that look was priceless...  so she looks at me insulted- and I start to laugh over it-  well then she got furious that I laughed at her... and stomped off.   How dare I interrupt her day with a sneeze.  lol

Cashie is having a kitty fit and racing from one end of the house to the other, with the occasional pause to either annoy Amos or think about jumping onto the kitchen counter (the squirt bottle just is NOT as effective as it used to be)

Booga is in the window doing some serious cussin at some critter outside. I'd go scare the critter away, but I'm kind likin hearing the feline curse words. Ooooh, he's all puffed up now. Maybe I should go deal with this.

Cash is just checking out the new digs!  Checking the traction on the corners and stuff.  When I moved to the new place, the kittehs spent the first 2 hours checking out all the cupboards and closets.  The apartment is IDENTICAL to the one I moved out of, but you'd never know it to see them!  It's like they discovered them all over again!

Squeaks is such a goof!  I have two large pitcher type containers that I keep my dry food in.  She'll get next to them and paw at them, scratching the sides....and she won't stop until I give her a few pieces.  It's in the feeders, but maybe she thinks she's scoring an extra "tweet"....I don't know...there's no telling with cats!

Mine are relaxed and happy

Two days ago, after the 11.5 hour journey home, they spend the first 24 hours in the garage and then moved to an outside area which my dad arranged for them (he gave them 2/3 of their balcony which was quite a big and (even better) a nice area...but it didn't last long (less than 30 minutes) that curry and spicy had already escaped, despite the fact that dad did quite a good job to secure it for them...just not good enough

I dragged them back once and, of course, they escaped again (but never when I was around to see it how they escape ) but as they turned up later again it seems they learned now already where they belong to...that means that now all cats have the free run here outside as the birmans and pepper were never in danger to get lost so there was no point to leave them "behind bars" (and inside on the floor on the groundfloor...sadly not upstairs, where my room is )
