Misty is such a spoiled thing. She meowed at me the entire time I was cooking dinner (crispy cornmeal flounder). I cooked her and Angel their own plain pieces, since I figured they would not like the cornmeal coating. Misty turned her nose up at it! At least Angel likes her flounder. More than likely, she will go over and polish off Misty's portion when she's done with hers.

Cajun is sitting here at my feet letting me pet him. Purring away like a slightly muted Harley. Dobby is in the other room hiding under the bed, he only comes out after dark. Demons walk the earth in daylight you know.

I love when they purr.   Have you ever noticed the double purr?  It is a purr and a purr... like extra.   So cool- like the happiest thing on earth.

Yes, the extra purr is nice. Cajun makes a little chirr noise when he talks. He doesn't meow often, he chirrs. Dobby, on the other hand, does not purr, he merely howls. He carries on long conversations with anyone willing to speak back to him.

Cajun is now curled up on the back of the chair sleeping soundly with his nose tucked under the tip of his tail.

My cat is a talker too.  She wasn't at first- but she is now.  She is more content to hang out here-  rather then go running since I play with her alot.  She is a sweety.

Boo is my hero.....when I went to get the dishes from the outdoor kittehs, this HUGE roach made it inside and under the dryer.  This was about 30 minutes ago.

Well, I'm sitting here, and suddenly hear growling......Boo has caught the bug, has it in his mouth and is telling Smooch that "IT'S MINE....AAAAAALLLLLLLL MINE!"  So, I'm trying to get him to give it up, and when he does, the damn thing is STILL alive......*shudder*.  So he gets his foot on it, and I grab one of the cat dishes and when he moves his foot, I squish all the guts outta the thing......I tossed the body in the trash, and came back and told Boo he was such a good boy for getting rid of the nasty bug!  *shuddersquirmshudderewwwwwwwshudder*

I went home to find 2 older teenage females, and 4 kittens that multiplied into 5 kittens apparently. A neighbor said that one of her friends "took one of the two tiger striped kitties", but two striped kittens ambled over while I was talking to the neighbor so I guess one was hiding when I counted and fed.

Two older cats are pregnant again so they have appointments to be spayed. The one remaining striped baby who did not find a home this weekend is still looking for a home. The good news is, the neighbor who has livestock is joyful that the older cats are rat catching fools. If they are spayed, the cats can stay on the property.

Summer should also be pregnant again and I hope all will go well this time and then she will get spayed, too. She should deliver them end of june...just hope she doesnt lose them due to stress with now moving all the way oversea....though i am hopeful as she isnt that stressed out about it but it is just a very long journey.

In the past one of my cats used to do that. If someone was ringing the doorbell once she was fine...but if someone was ringing soon later another time, she started growling

It was so funny.  The cat growled at the dog that everyone hated.  He was a mean dog-  in the end they had to destroy him...(the dog)   He was 1/2 block away and she seen him thru the window.  That was the only time she EVER growled.

When da Boyz got here, if anybody knocked on the door, they would growl. If the door opened, of course they skittered under the bed.
