Status: offline 		I would feel it was completely non  of their business and there for nobody in my party would be telling them anything. We're not there to tell people our private lives we're there to get a lapdance.

as I said, I love strippers. my fiancee loves me. ergo, she loves me going to strip clubs and has no problem going with me.

My slave is a dancer. We met while she was working, and I did things for the owners. I take her with me when I go to strip clubs.

****I'm single right now but recently judged The Male Erotic Performer of  the Year contest (Was one of the judges).  I have been to strip clubs with female dancers many times with my ex- and with other friends, and even once with my ex-, another with whom I was in a relationship, and a friend.  A dancer asked me something about my husband as I was snuggled up against My other and he said, "That's her husband" and indicated my husband.  She didn't query further. 
Different poly people reference their partners differently, btw: personal preference thing. 

If so, and if you're getting dancers, do you share the nature of your relationship with the dancers or keep it to yourselves?  I'd be willing to bet most dancers aren't fazed by anything, but who knows.

Oh, yeah, I've also been to gay male strip clubs too.  It's a little disconcerting to have half-hard penises hovering above one's beverages but that may be another thought-process entirely.  ;>

Status: offline 		Maybe it's just the city where I'm from, but one thing that concerns me about strip clubs is that the women who work in them (at least the ones in San Francisco) start to emerge as real man haters, and not in the bdsm sense of what would actually be really cool. And I don't blame them for the most part as some of the guys that go to these clubs are really, really sleazy.

When I was doing my undergraduate years at San Francisco State, MANY of my female friends were strippers in the city, and you could actually watch the change in them as they went from really friendly people to very conniving, very cynical women towards anything involving sexual behavior. It was really sad to see. Fortunately, I was mainly a friend, so I never got lumped into this type of condemnation, but I was always there to see it happen, and it was really devastating to see happen over and over again. I tend to have seen a lot of that from a lot of friends of mine who were in the sex industry (from one type of sex worker to the next, as that designation encompasses a LOT of different types of employment).

We do. I always have a great time. In every place there is usually one stripper who is kinkier than the rest and you can tell by what she wears, how she moves, and who she looks at. I always single this type out (or perhaps she does the same to me) for dances. Sometimes I see things I really like (usually shoes) and ask where they came from. Sometimes I learn new things (that's the best but I'm not telling) .

Oddly enough they get away with doing things to me other people wouldn't DARE. It's good fun. Cheap too, just not for the guys. We don't go often but it can be a great change of scenery.

tip: don't be sleazy, approach the situation respectfully and professionally (that does not mean hide your personality, it just means realize the situation, don't bullshit your dancers, and buy those dances as well as tip the girls busting their ass on stage), and you'll be a breath of fresh air to them - and they will treat you well for it.

I had my bachelor's party last weekend and went to new orleans and spent some nights in my two favorite strip clubs on the street. I was talking to a dancer and she muttered 'oh god, here come some lesbians'. apparently the lesbians can be the worse than men, even the assholes. she told me men are usually more restrained than the women as the women feel like they can get away with doing things that are a bit more crass where as men would be scared they'd get pummeled by bouncers if they tried anything of the sort.
