Any D/s or M/s couples (or poly groups - what is the poly equivalent of "couple"?) enjoy going to strip clubs? If so, and if you're getting dancers, do you share the nature of your relationship with the dancers or keep it to yourselves? I'd be willing to bet most dancers aren't fazed by anything, but who knows.

I only know a handful of strippers - but they're some of the brightest people I know. Even the ones lacking book smarts are quite aware in this world. They get propositioned all the time, they are probably only second to PSO's and hookers in hearing about stranger's personal sexual interests. I like the idea of taking my girl(s) to a strip club. It's fun for everyone - A dancer like the one Sunny alluded too will have a better time than grinding on some scrubby bearded trucker, and the options for subtle (and not so subtle) D/s are rampant. That said... A strip club is somebody's place of business. And that somebody is a bad ass mother fucker. He is NOT going to put up with your (the general you) kinks in his club if it means any risk of his licenses... Most notably when there's no profit in it for him.

Lol I even get to "play" stripper sometimes. The girls will carte me off to the back room, dress me up, do my hair, put make up on me, give me a big drink in a pretty glass. Then I get to bounce around with them and talk to people. It's a blast :D

I've known a few dancers who were extremely sharp. And a few who were dumb as rocks. I went to dinner with a dancer - she was my neighbor, actually, I never went to her club, but she told me what she did for work - and she was under the impression that the dressing is the healthy part of the salad. No joke. So, you know, there are some dopey ones out there (as in any other part of life, I guess).

I danced for a short while in Memphis. I TOTALLY sucked at it. But I've known quite a few dancers... some were wicked smart, some weren't. Some were the stereotypical druggies, most weren't. When I lived in Atlanta, a bunch of male friends/co-workers and I used to go to Tattletales after we'd get off work (stagehands)... I loved getting lapdances...

And obviously since I love her, and she is my play partner, and I go to see her often at work, I know a lot more about the rules of a strip club in our particular city then you do. My second wife was a top stripper/fire eater so aye we used to go to strip clubs, night clubs and bucks parties where in all cases I was her rodie and security whilst on stage or at the venue. My rational was simply, "You blokes have to pay to see what is mine to play with any time I want."

Just chiming in to say no, not all poly folks are into strip clubs. The only way it would work for us if it was some kind of split where you could watch male dancers in one section of the club and female dancers in the other. Then, we might be interested in being in the same building, though not the same section. I'm not knocking your thread here. Just popping up as a reminder that not all poly folks are bisexual.

Got it - I'm not sure that "all poly folks are bisexual" was implied in my post - so I'll say that my question applies only where: 1. some of the members are bisexual; or 2. all of the members of the relationship are of the same gender, and they go to a strip club featuring that gender of performer. I'll try to frame my question more precisely in the future...

no idea. I only went to clubs with chick dancers. male dancers never appealed to me.
