Status: offline 		Sorry, there's no such thing as a good reggae cover of a non reggae song.  Only folks that dig those are white boys with dreadlocks seen on Reggae on the River (generally Marin County Brats) and Burning Man Brats.

Okay, that was an off colour joke, and I know I'll be flamed (or stoned, since I made fun of white boys into reggae) for saying it, but fuck it, I love uncut Red Foxx pre Sanford and Son so fuck it.  Flame away, burning man brats!

No, I wish I was, but I've met Mark Pesce.  You can read his statements on Burning man.  he's an old timer.

If I wanted to be funny I'd tell you about the stuck-up LARP quartet (nothing against LARP's, just stuck up players of LARP's) that fancied themselves a neo-gothic Chronos quartet with cheap cello's covering Sisters of Mercy.

Hey Rich! Man, it's good to be back, hopefully for good this time

I hate hearing that about Bach, he's one of my favorite singers. I know he tried out for Velvet Revolver a few years back, but the personalities didn't mesh well (evidently, neither did Scott Weiland's and Slash).

Here is a fun cover that made me laugh my ass off the first time I heard it. Throwdown - baby got Back

A cover I really really like is Disturbed - Land Of Confusion  They covered it right after the lead singer worked his way through his childhood issues and started using his music to call for a change in the world.

And here is another cover Marylin Manson - Tainted Love

But I don't want to screw the artists on the royalties, so are those on formal CD's so my purchase leads to royalties?

Marilyn Mansons"Tainted Love can be purchased as a single or as part of the Album "Lest We Forget" which is a best of with his cover of Sweet dreams and Personal Jesus

Land of Confusion is found on the 10,000 Fists Album put out by Disturbed, In my opinion it is the best album they have done so far.

Always happy to help people find good tunes :D


Another cover that I enjoyed better than the original would be the cover HIM did of the song Wicked Game LINK
The guys is a lil funny looking, but has an amazing voice.

Status: offline 		It's definitely different, I'm somewhere in the middle on this one no way would I buy it,but wouldn't run out of the room plugging my ears if I heard it being played either.
Now I really liked the John Lennon version of "stand by me",but I like him anyway so perhaps I'm biased.
