I was talking with a friend this evening about My trip to SELF this weekend. During the course of the event, I will be having My last public scene in the greater Atlanta area. I'm sure I'll still play privately over the next few weeks before the move, but this will be My last public venue.

Since clip is away, I can think of no one better to share this occasion with the girl that I call lil dove. From the first time we played together years ago, she and I have always found the same music in the dance. We speak to each other with no words. Our energy together is something that can't be searched for. It can only be found when not looking.

So the question that I have is this. If you had but one scene left when you knew it was your last, who would it be with and why?

Ah, it would definitely not be with a celebrity. It would have to be with someone I had a connection with who would feel the mysterious play. There would be subtle sparks of imagery giving her ideas of what may come and it would not all be pleasant to her. She would struggle to figure out what her uneasy feelings meant, not understanding, and that’s the beauty of the scene. Eventually, the images would come to reality and she would question her very reason for being in the scene.
