I use to have a room next to my parents when I was growing up and I could hear them.  I remember hearing my mom go "ow ow ow", I don't think it was bdsm, but just anal.
My whole family is a bunch of kinks, I just don't think anyone else is into bdsm.  :)

BDSM doesn't run in my family but alternate lifestyles do.  My parents (divorced when I was born) each led alternative lifestyles of a sort.  My mother was basically the goddess in her household.  She would get out a cigarette and my stepfather would dash across the room to light it.  My father had an "un-dress" policy.  When people came over they were allowed to be fully clothed or undress as much as they wanted.  My sister was lesbian (now bi) and had spent time as a loving threesome.  My daughter is married to a man who gets a huge kick out of being photographed with his hand on other women's boobs and he publicly displays them.  The basic family rule of thumb is if it makes you happy and you aren't hurting anyone else then more power to you.

So my question is this do any of you find that bdsm runs in your family?

I don't think "BDSM" runs in my family but serving one's man does. My mother and father had a nearly 33 year "vanilla" marriage up until he passed away in 2003. There were D/s without ever stating it as such. There were no kinky props or titles that I know of but she happily did his will in everything. I haven't known a much more "vanilla" couple than them but she delighted in serving him in every way and deferred to him in everything she did and didn't do.

I consider her my role model as to how a woman should treat a deserving man. Master thinks she trained me up right[;)] and it sure pleases her that I treat my husband (Master) as she did hers (though my way is much kinkier, I do believe).............luci

yes. d/s four generations, maybe farther back but I didn't  know my great-grandparents. Femdoms, matriarchs and some w/ kinks and some not. One of my grown children is a switch and one is just kinky.. the other I never discussed it with.

As far as I can tell, my parents are vanilla to the point of asexual. If they told me the last time they had sex was when I was conceived at an Aerosmith concert in 1978, I'd believe them.

Older brother and his wife lean towards the goth end of the spectrum but no real kinks that I could tell, and I knew my brother's wife before they were dating, and my brother was pretty up front with what his sexual things were. t

Me, I'm dominant, but not in the "dogmatic" way I see many say you must be here. I like to be in charge, but I do listen to the input of others. I have some kinky tendencies, (at least I think so) but I'm not into anything that would make the average CM member blush.
